DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS
I. SEQUENCE:
1) Alien Employment Permit (AEP) from Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) –
2 to 3 weeks
3) Pre-arranged Employment Visa (9g visa) from BI – approval is 4 to 6 weeks from visa
interview/biometrics
Visa revalidation – if the visa is approved and the applicant is out of the country OR the
visa is approved and the applicant is in the country but cannot be implemented because the
applicant has to leave the country and the implementation process cannot be completed on
time – 2 weeks
4) Alien Certificate of Registration Identity Card (ACR I-Card) from BI – 2 to 3 weeks from
implementation of 9g visa in the passport.
ACR I-Card Waiver – this is applied when the ACR I-Card is not yet released and the
applicant has to leave the country in the meantime – 3 working days
1. Joint letter request from company using company letterhead and signed by both the
applicant and company representative. The company representative who signs this letter
will also sign the petitioner’s signature portion on page 2 of the CGAF. WE WILL EMAIL
TEMPALE OF LETTER.
2. Four (4) original Consolidated General Application Forms (CGAF) for Non Immigrant
Visa, Special Work Permit and Provisional Work Permit for EACH family member. WE
WILL EMAIL SOFT COPY OF THE FORM.
3. AEP Application Form for the principal only to be filled up and signed at the bottom by
applicant and indorsed by company representative. WE WILL EMAIL SOFT COPY OF THE
FORM.
6. Latest and updated General Information Sheet (GIS) of the company stamped received
by SEC. THIS IS SUBMITTED ONCE A YEAR WITHIN 30 DAYS FROM ANNUAL
STOCKHOLDER’S MEETING.
7. Photocopy of latest company Annual Income Tax Return with Official Receipt of the tax
payment or BIR confirmation, if payment was thru EFPS. THIS IS FILED APRIL 15 OF
EACH YEAR.
8. Latest Mayor’s Permit and Official Receipt of the payment of the company. THIS IS
RENEWED WITHIN THE FIRST 60 DAYS OF EACH YEAR.
10. Original passport with updated stay is presented to DOLE and BI for verification upon
the filing of the applications.
11. Copy of the TIN ID OR TIN Application Form where the TIN is written and duly stamped
“received” by BIR.
12. If the applicant is residing in the premises of the company, a Company Certification is
required.
13. Special Temporary Permit (STP) from Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), if
practicing a regulated profession. WE AVOID USING POSITION TITLES THAT ARE
REGULATED PROFESSIONS.
14. Company certification of the number of foreign and local employees currently employed
by the company. WE WILL EMAIL A BI-PRESCRIBED FORMAT.
15. If the wife and/or children are joining, the following are the requirements: a) three (3)
original CGAF for Non-Immigrant only for each family member; b) original passport with
updated stay for verification; c) 4 pieces 2 x 2 pictures; and d) original AUTHENTICATED
copy of the marriage and/or birth certificates, translated to English, if in a foreign language
by, the Philippine Consulate.
a. By the Philippine Consulate in the country where the documents were issued. The
Philippine Consulate maybe located in another country, if the consulate covers multiple
countries. In countries with multiple consulates like the US, by the consulate which has
jurisdiction of the state where the document was issued.
b. In the Philippines by DFA, provided the documents are certified by the embassy in the
Philippines of the country where the documents was issued. Not all consulates certify
documents so when this happens, your only way is letter (a) above.
