Abstrck
Objective: this study to determine the relationship of knowledge regarding the control
of blood sugar levels with the incidence of diabetic ulcers in patients with diabetes
mellitus
Resulth: Most of the patients' knowledge level of control of blood sugar levels are
categorized as less as many as 31 (62%). Diabetic ulcer incidence of 50 patients
suffering from diabetes mellitus as much (38%). There is a significant relationship
between knowledge about blood sugar control with the incidence of diabetic ulcers with
p <0.005 and the value of RR 2:22.
Conclution: Less knowledge about blood sugar control in people with diabetes are at
risk 2:22 times greater incidence of diabetic ulcers
