The Department of the Interior and Local Government is looking for dynamic and competent

individuals who will assist in the implementation of the Capacity Enhancement for People’s Law
Enforcement Boards (PLEB) Program in the CALABARZON Region.

Regional Program Head


Status: Contract of Service
Place of Assignment: DILG IV-A Regional Office
Salary Grade: 16 (P28,417.00/month)

Preferred Qualifications/Competencies

 At least one (1) year relevant work experience managing programs or projects relative to local
governments
 Preferably with a Bachelor of Laws degree, or a Master’s Degree relevant to the job
 Must have working knowledge of the law
 Must have good leadership skills
 Must have above average analytical, oral and written communication skills
 Must have the ability to deliver results under pressure
 Must have the ability to work well in diverse range of stakeholders at local and national levels

Job Summary

 Take the lead in the overall planning, organizing, and coordination for program implementation
of the Capacity Enhancement for PLEBs in the regional level with focus on training, provision
of technical assistance, and monitoring and evaluation of PLEBs
 Ensure that the financial and manpower resources are managed in the most efficient and
effective manner towards accomplishing the objectives of the program
 Ensure the provision of technical assistance to plebs through trainings, conferences, and
seminars
 Oversee the performance and the carrying-out of the functions of the PLEB Project
Management Office

Legal Officer
Status: Contract of Service
Place of Assignment: DILG IV-A Regional Office
Salary Grade: 15 (P26,192.00/month)

Preferred Qualifications/Competencies

 Must have at least one (1) year of relevant experience


 Must have a Bachelor of Law’s degree
 Must have knowledge of relevant rules and regulations, policies, procedures and operations
of the PLEB, as well as of local governments in general
 Must have the ability to apply legal and administrative expertise to analyze a diverse range of
complex and unusual issues and problems, and to develop innovative and creative solutions
 Must have good research and policy formulation skills
 Must have above average analytical, oral and written communication skills
 Must have the ability to deliver results under pressure
 Must have the ability to work well in a multi-disciplinary team and relate well in diverse range
of stakeholders at local and national levels.
Job Summary

 Undertake necessary legal and legislative research or study on matters relative to the PLEB
and draft preliminary decisions about actions to be taken, for submission to the superiors
 Provide capacity development to PLEBs through trainings, conferences, and seminars
 Provide legal advice and counsel on other official matters
 Perform other functions that may be assigned by the superiors/management

Information Technology Officer


Status: Contract of Service
Place of Assignment: DILG IV-A Regional Office
Salary Grade: 15 (P26,192.00/month)

Preferred Qualifications/Competencies

 Must be a Degree holder on Information Technology, Computer Science/Computer


Engineering, or equivalent
 Must have relevant experience on online database creation and management
 Must have good analytical, oral and written communication skills
 Must have the ability to work well in a multi-disciplinary team and relate well in diverse range
of stakeholders at local and national levels

Job Summary

 Perform research and analysis on the fron-end and back-end coding and workflow
 Assist in the formulation of process workflow for the PLEB Database System
 Render support in developing database management system for both front-end and back-
end
 Track the data of all PLEBs being monitored by the program and provide summary reports
on the same at the end of each quarter
 Perform other functions that may be assigned by the superiors/management

Technical Officer
Status: Contract of Service
Place of Assignment: DILG IV-A Regional Office
Salary Grade: 10 (P17,730.00/month)

Preferred Qualifications/Competencies

 Must be a Degree holder on Information Technology, Computer Science/Computer


Engineering, or equivalent
 Must have relevant experience on online database creation and management
 Must have good analytical, oral and written communication skills
 Must have the ability to work well in a multi-disciplinary team and relate well in diverse range
of stakeholders at local and national levels
Job Summary

 Assist the IT Officer/Programmer in the conceptualization, revision, and enhancement of the


PLEB Database System

 Track the data of all PLEBs being monitored by the program and provide input to the IT
Officer/Programmer for the preparation of summary reports on the same at the end of each
quarter
 Undertake other functions as may be required
