Objectives: Students will be able to expand their vocab on the given


topic

Intervention: Students write related vocab in circle map and arrange


them in tree map under the main points. (30min – 60 min hour lesson)

Awareness Raising strategies: As a whole class feedback, teacher shows


the mistakes they did by using LCD/ Projector, poster or A3.

Steps: ( I hour lesson)


1. Teacher explains about the health and words in the cloud refer to.
(Appendix A)

2. Then Students categorize the vocab in tree map which has main
points about how to stay healthy.(Appendix A)

3. Students expand the vocab into simple sentences on the A 3


paper and will do “flying carpet”. The other group’s students
comment about their work.

Example: Jog at the park

4. Then copy their work in the work books.

Problem: Error in switching tenses

Objectives: Students will be able to use the past tense and present Resource:

Awareness raising strategies: Teacher ask the students to convert past grammar-games
tense into presence tense and ask the students to do gallery walk and
peer check at the same time.

Step 1: Teacher explain to them about irregular verbs and give the
example of irregular verbs
Step 2: Teacher set four groups and ask them complete the crossword
puzzle, where a present tense word list will be given and student will fill
up the crossword puzzle with Past tense in Appendix B. Then they do
carousel feedback.

Step 3: Students construct a simple sentences based on the 10 chosen


word to ensure they know how to use them in the context

Steps

1. Go down to the school’s gymnasium, playground or set up a makeshift


basketball hoop in the classroom. You can manage this without
damaging school property by simply setting up a hula hoop or other
plastic ring as the “hoop” and by playing with a small inflatable or foam
ball.

2. Break the students into two groups or have them play individually
against the rest of their classmates.

2b.There are two ways to go about playing this one. Before being allowed
to take a shot, each student must either:
1. Answer a question with the appropriate featured grammar pattern.
2. Based on the worksheet in Appendix C.

3. If the student gets their answer or statement wrong or doesn’t phrase


it properly, they won’t get to take a shot.

4. If the student passes this part of the game, they get to take a shot. If
they score, they get 2 points. If they don’t score but got the question
right, they get 1 point.

Steps.
1. Students will be divided into four groups. Each group will be
provided activity as in the appendix D. Where the words are
printed in a smaller paper
2. Students construct sentences using cut and paste activity.
3. Then the students display it and they mention about their
sentence In RALLY ROBIN pattern.
4. Then students did the exercise in workbook.

2. Ask the students to construct sentences using the method below and
teacher list out the connectors and pronouns they may use to make the
complex sentences.
3. Then students connect the sentences using appropriate connectors
and pronouns by whiteboard race game. The students write the complex
sentences using proper connectors and pronouns.
4. Teacher asks them to do gallery walk and comment about their friends
work.

Steps:
1. Teacher gives the worksheet with the title spelling Addition.
2. Then the students will sit in their group which would be assigned by
teacher then they will write as much words in the worksheet in
Appendix F.
3. They have to write as much words as possible in 20 minutes and ask
their peers to check the spelling and add the marks for them.
4.The students who score the highest marks will be announced as the
winner
