Career Preparation Courses, 2017-2018

ROP is a state-funded program that provides career technical education to high school juniors
and seniors. Why take an ROP class? ROP students can:

• Experience careers that may assist in choosing college majors and enhance college admission
applications.
• Fulfill their VAPA requirement for UC and CSU.
• Gain hands-on experience in local businesses in classes with an internship component.
• Earn high school elective credit and a certificate of recognition.
• ROP offers over 70 classes! Students may take ROP during the bell schedule, after the bell on our
campus or after the bell at surrounding high schools. For a complete list and description, visit our
