To Whom it May Concern,

I am writing to recommend Liliana Hernandez for scholarship opportunities or a position in your

organization. Liliana has been a student in my Economics and Government courses this year. In
her time in my course Liliana has done nothing but impress me with her work ethic and positive
attitude. Liliana is a true pleasure to have in class. She is a young lady that will definitely
improve any organization or campus that she is a part of.

Liliana is going to attend college and become a registered nurse. There is no doubt in my mind
that she will achieve that goal. Liliana will be the first in her family to attend college. She
definitely has the drive and intelligence to achieve anything she wants to achieve. Liliana has
proven in high school that she can balance, school, sports, and other activities and still maintain
an outstanding GPA (4.1). Liliana has been a member of the basketball and served as captain her
senior year. She has been recognized for her athletic excellence by the conference and team, she
was selected as the MVP of her team and recognized as an all league player in basketball and
soccer. She also was on the CCC Academic Team for her academic excellence. Liliana has also
volunteered two hundred and fifty hours working in the community. Liliana has proven that she
is a disciplined and motivated young lady.

Liliana is an outstanding student, she listens very carefully to instruction will ask for
clarification. Liliana consistently scores the highest mark on her exam in all my classes. She sets
the curve! The other characteristic that she possesses is fact that she can handle failure and
bounce back, this is a critical skill for achieving success in college and career. There is no doubt
in my mind that Liliana will have a positive impact on any campus or organization lucky enough
to have her.
