Trial and the


ending
[Alice, White Rabbit, Queen of Heart, Playing Cards on the stage]

 Cheshire Cat  : White Rabbit came with a scroll. [Sound effect: Trumpet]

White Rabbit : Your Majesty, members of the jury, loyal subjects. The

Prisoner at the bar is charged with insulting Her Majesty,

the Queen of Heart, during a game of Simon Says, and…

Alice : But I didn’t say anything bad about the Queen!

White Rabbit : It is evident that she annoyed our beloved…

Queen of Heart : Skip all that! Get to the part where I lost my temper.

White Rabbit : Err.. Thereby caused Queen of Heart to loose her temper.

Queen of Heart : Now. [Looks at Alice] Are you ready for your sentence?

[Smiles] [Gesture: cutting throat] Off with her.. [White

Rabbit interrupts]

White Rabbit : Please consider, Your Majesty. Can we hear from a witness or

two?

Queen of Heart : Oh, very well. Get on with it!

White Rabbit : Witness one.. The Ace.

Playing Card 1 : [Points at Alice] She cheated during the game! I saw with my
two eyes.

White Rabbit : Witness two.. The Deuce.

Playing Card 2 : I heard this with my two ears.. [Sings] Twinkle, twinkle, little

bat. How I wonder..

Queen of Heart : That’s the most important piece of evidence. She’s quilty! Off

with her head!

Alice : [Shouts loudly] No, no, no…!!!

[Lights off – horrifying music]

[Music stops - only Alice on the Stage]

 Cheshire Cat  : Alice woke up and realized that everything did not happen for

real.

[Lights on]

Alice : Thank God… It was just a dream..
