Matlab2011b-win64-0.zip contains Matlab and Simulink. So if you only need to install Matlab, then this
is the only file that is needed.
Example:
If you are have to install Matlab and the Optimization toolbox, then you need to download
Matlab2011b-win64-0.zip and Matlab2011b-win64-1.zip
If you are installing Matlab, Statistics toolbox and the Wavelet toolbox, then you have to
download the 3 zip files, since the Statistics is enlosed in Matlab2011b-win64-1.zip and Wavelet
in Matlab2011b-win64-2.zip

The Windows wizard proposes default to extract to a folder using the same name as the file, do not use
this default and specify a folder yourself, e.g. Matlab2011b and the files will be extracted.
If you need to unpack the other zip files, proceed the same way and slect the same folder to unpack the
files into. Windows will issue a warning that you will merge files, but accept this.

Extract the files without 3rd party software (7-zip)
7-zip proposes to unpack the files in a directory having the same name as the file, but do not accept this
default folder, specify the folder name yourself e.g. Matlab2011b

If you need to unpack also the other zip files, proceed the same way and specify always the same folder.
Installing Matlab
After unpacking the files, the directory should look like the example below:

An installer file and an archives directory containing different installer files.

Fill out the File Installation Key that you’ve received and click Next> to continue.

The default option of installing Matlab under the Program Files can be accepted.
An overview of the installed toolboxes is given and click Install> to continue. The installation can take
some time.
Once the files are installed, Matlab will ask to activate the software

Click Next> to continue.
Choose the option to Activate manually without the Internet. And click Next>.

This finishes the installation.
