Part I: Audience

The target group consists of 63 classroom teachers at Lyman Hall Elementary. Of the 63

teachers, 23 teachers have less than 10 years of teaching experience. Forty teachers have more

than 10 years of teaching experience. Twenty-three teachers at LHES currently hold a 4-year

bachelor’s degree, 27 teachers hold a 5-year master’s degree, and 13 teachers currently hold a 6-

year specialist’s degree.

In order for teachers to complete this professional learning, they will need a computer or other

device with internet access. Teachers will need to have an understanding of computer basics and

be able to log into Nearpod. They will need to request login credentials prior to completing this

professional learning session.

Part 2: Learner Analysis

Of the 63 classroom teachers at Lyman Hall, only two teachers have experience using Nearpod.

All teachers have access to internet and a Hall County issued laptop. All teachers at Lyman Hall

have experience using other digital programs with students.

Part 3: Task Analysis

In order to meet the instructional goal of this professional learning, teachers will need to create a

Nearpod lesson to share with their students. I will perform a procedural analysis to assist with the

design of this module. I will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for this professional

learning session. I currently use Nearpod with students and have attended two training sessions

led by certified Nearpod staff members. I will be the one responsible for delivering the Nearpod

professional development in person and also developing the online version.
