Total is a major integrated oil and gas company active in all sectors of the
petroleum industry. It explores in more than 130 countries. The company is
Nigeria's fourth-largest oil and gas producer through its involvement in more than
50 permits, including nine as operator. Total owns 15% of the shares in Nigeria
LNG Limited.
