immigrant families who come in contact with immigration agents.

When ICE agents were outside of then DACA recipient Daniela Vargas’ house, she immediately alerted her loved ones
through text. They began to organize and called the press to prevent her from being detained. As Daniela was being arrested,
media and other people arrived which helped stop her detention. We created Notifica to help everyone act fast in a moment of
panic. With the push of a button, Notifica connects users with their relatives, lawyers and support networks in a fast
and secure manner.

Now more than ever, immigrant communities need to be prepared with an emergency plan in case they face immigration
agents just like Daniela did.

Immigrant youth designed Notifica to empower immigrants like Daniela. While the app won’t stop deportations, it will enable
targeted families to prepare, defend and organize to protect themselves and those in their communities.

The fact is that this administration will not respect the rights of human beings. So we must know our power. Notifica ensures
that we are connected in times of need so that we can protect ourselves and each other.

arrestada, llegaron medios de comunicación y otras personas que ayudaron a detener su detención. Creamos Notifica para

con sus familiares, abogados y redes de apoyo de manera rápida y segura.

Ahora más que nunca, las comunidades de inmigrantes deben estar preparadas con un plan de emergencia en caso de que
se enfrenten a agentes de inmigración al igual que Daniela.
La juventud inmigrante diseñó Notifica para empoderar a los inmigrantes como Daniela. Aunque la aplicación no detendrá las
deportaciones, permitirá que las familias seleccionadas se preparen, defiendan y organicen para protegerse a sí mismas y a
los que están en sus comunidades.

El hecho es que esta administración no respetará los derechos de los seres humanos. Entonces debemos conocer nuestro
poder. Notifica asegura que estamos conectados en tiempos de necesidad para que podamos protegernos y protegernos
unos a otros.
