committee. ASHRAE technical
committees, task groups, and
technical resource groups
serve as the Society’s technical
foundation.
ASHRAE standards and
guidelines continue to affect public
policy in the areas of energy efficiency,
safety, security, and public health. ASHRAE
members are involved in all facets of the industry to
improve HVAC&R and ultimately make the world a
cleaner, safer, and more efficient place to live.
ASHRAE Research
We currently have approximately 60 active research
projects. Since 1960 we have funded 845 research
projects with a combined value of $67 million (not
adjusted for inflation). The final reports for these
projects are free to members on ASHRAE.org.
