TIPO I: (Figura12).
“Monobloque”.
TIPO II:
Son fracturas completas unilaterales o bilaterales. Segmento único o
con conminución externa a la inserción del ligamento cantal medial,
encontrándose adherido a algún fragmento óseo de buen tamaño.
TIPO III: (Figura 14)
Los tipos II y III pueden ser uni o bilaterales, incluso pueden coexistir un
tipo II de un lado y un tipo III contralateral.
La clasificación del Donald de fracturas del seno frontal nos ayuda para
la planeación del tratamiento:
1. Pared anterior
• A. Linear.
• B. Deprimida.
• C. Compuesta.
• D. Conminuta.
2. Pared posterior
•A. Linear.
•B. Deprimida.
•C. Deprimida con fístula de LCR.
•D. Conminuta.
3. Receso frontonasal.
