1) The first way that the bubonic plague was passed was through fleas, they would vomit

plague material into humans blood streams. Rats also helped spread the plague by their

offspring. Their offspring could carry up to eight plague infected fleas they would then

feast in the cargo that traveled along the mongols trade routes. The plague killed about

fifty million people in just fifteen years. This disease was literally killing people so

rapidly and there was nothing that could be done about it but there were efforts in trying

to cure it such as applying ointment to the bulbo made of honey, egg yolks, and scorpion

oil to draw out the poison. There was also another thing that was believed to help resolve

the plague from spreading and that was not having sex and to not bathe they believed that

maybe it was some sort of sexually transmitted disease but it was not. The best thing that

doctors could actually do was to drain the disease out of the victim by blood leading,

leeches but the best thing they actually could of done was to stay away from the victims

because the doctors would see so many people it would then spread to those people that

he had try to cure so it would just helping it spread rather than helping demolish it. This

also helped bring alone something that was never seen before which was a biological

weapon for the first time the mongols used a biological weapon in warfare being the

plague. The mongols would use their dead men and place them in the areas they wanted

to conquer, destroy. The reason that this method was so successful was because one the

enemies didn't see it coming because it hadn't been done before but also because you

can't see bacteria, germs or disease. This was actually one of the smartest attack methods

in my opinion but it was also one of the worst because it lead to the plague becoming
airborne and killing literally millions of people even innocent children and babies. Once

the plague became airborne the kill rate rises from seventy percent to one-hundred

percent. So it no longer became a smart war tactic because it wasn't just killing your

enemies anymore it was killing everyone you loved and cared about if they had came into

contact with an infected victim. The plague lead to needing a scapegoat/blame Europe

was a good place for the plague, it had the perfect conditions that attracted the plague

which were filth, squalor, rodents and lots of people packed into one small area. Europe

was so confused as to why the plague was happening they needed a scapegoat, the jews.

In the stage of confusion humans tend to find someone or something to blame for

whatever is happening in this case with the plague no one had a clue how this was

happening so they find someone or something to blame. The reason i put this one as on of

my top five is because i feel like ownership is a huge part of life, this relates more to real

life then to the video but it was just like dang even back then humans had to find blame

europe didn't even think like hmmm maybe we have gotten this crazy destructive diseases

from ourselves because of how fifthly we live. That's something i feel like needs to

change in our society ownership and honestly those are keys to humanity.

2) Writing is the most important in my opinion because that was the first way information

was getting received all around the world for the first time we had advertisement and

news and it could be official because it was in writing the informations was not just hear

say anymore we had primary sources. Learning how to read in write is the most important
thing you will ever learn. Back then it started off with how we got news which was

receiving newspapers, spreading the information world wide. A big part was receiving

letters from men in the army, navy, air force etc. to their family, and friends that a big

part of how we know what was going on in war. Being able to read and write has

influenced american in ways that have never been seen before. the printing press was

founded in germany i think this is very very important i can’t ever adress how important

writing and understand how to read and write. This is important to our world it had and

always will be important like i have said before we would not be anywhere close to

where we are now if it wasn't for communication and writing. Before the printed press it

took three years to make just one copy of the bible. It took a lot for books to be made it

was very expensive and only available to the the rich. Then came along the printing press

180 copies of the bible were printed and another six billion have been printed since.

Books can now be produced 2,000 times faster than before, 20 million printed in just 50

years. With communication before the printing press the chinese had invented woodblock

printing 700 years earlier but it was very slow and complex. Communication was such a

huge success for the mongols that's why they were so powerful and overruled so many

people. So again communication is obviously a huge part of history and is still a huge

part of our everyday life. Could you imagine trying to get something across to another

person without saying words or spelling ? it would be so hard but now we have advanced

so much that we even have different languages and different alphabets, communication

would definitely be something that had evolved dramatically over time. The alphabet was

also a key to communication writing and speaking those are some of the most valuable

and important things we have in life without it so much would be unknown, in my

opinion writing is the most important thing we have, playing charades for fun is hard

enough just trying to imagine that being the only way to get information across it crazy,

we have came so far as a whole in the way society is conducted, saying or doing day to

day things would be dramatically different without the alphabet the reason our speaking

and writing skills are to the level that they are today is because of the alphabet each

language has one they are just different from ours, but it's the way they come about

communication.

3) faith and religion Paul was a man that was on the run he was a preacher and a

troublemaker, he was also known as saint paul, Saint paul had GRIT, grit has a lot of

descriptive words, having grit is a good thing. Grit is courage, bravery, backbone, spirit,

strength of character, strength of will, moral fiber, perseverance, endurance and a lot

more. Paul's purpose was to spread the message that christ is messiah and if he were to

get caught the result would be exaction, for twenty years he contacted other believers.

He brought along the idea that christianity lead to salvation if you accepted jesus christ as

your lord and savior then you would have salvation. Islam spread like crazy and built a

new city named cordoba. When faith and hope came around it ultimately changed the

world for a better, it brought kindness upon mankind. You put faith and hope together

and it created love, and i know it's a crazy though but nearly anything and everything can

be done with love, what really brought all of this around was jesus the thought that you

could believe in something much greater than you and your sins would be forgiven ws

huge. Love is probably one of the most important things we have in our world because

without it we wouldn't really be anywhere it would be a world filled of hate and we

wouldn't be moving forward we wouldn't be moving backward and by a lot.Jesus christ

was executed, thousands of people were crucified but one was remembered and always

will be, being jesus. The pain of being crucified was tramenis he was up hanging on that

cross for about three days just hanging in pain, extreme pain nails in his hands and feet

with a thorn crown around his head, so that we could all live and be able to be forgiven

for sins that we committed. Islam was originally founded in the arabian peninsula, by

muhammad. It is an Abrahamic monotheistic religion teaching that there is only one God

and that Muhammad is a messenger of God. They have different practices than what you

would see in some other religions they have five pillars the first one is faith, then they

have prayer, alms, pilgrimage, and fasting. They have mosque services on fridays.

Ablutions before prayer. No alcohol or pork. Holidays related to the pilgrimage and fast

of Ramadan. a young inca warrior heckacute is driven by a vision of a sun god that is

what gives him so much power to win the war he has faith and had something to believe

and he truly had faith, and others say the faith he has and how it was very powerful and it

got others to start thinking about their faith and what they believe in or if they believed in

anything at all because obviously this sun god was doing a lot for this certain inca warrior

everyone else wanted great things to happen to them also. Heckacute have himself his

name and it means i am the concur of the world, he was very full of himself.

4) Discovery overall is a huge category but something that was discovered was a volcano “

chariot of gods” also gorillas and the people who discovered gorillas mind you this was

before darwen, they concluded that gorillas were ancestors of humans. I don’t think that

what we actually discovered was as important of the idea of discovery and adventuring,

for the first time in humanity humans were actually branching out to more than just little

communities and what was already known. Something that reminds me of discovery is
whether it's within your self or in the world is when you stay where you are comfortable

you're actually not moving forward you're not even just staying where you are because

the people around you are moving forward so you are actually moving backwards, being

uncomfortable is actually okay because eventually you are going to get comfortable there

and you'll have to become uncomfortable again. The discovery of vikings came about

when men were seeking new trade routes, when vikings were first discovered the romans

seen them as “perfect physical specimens”, big men with white bodies, tall, but also the

filthiest creatures ever seen. All they did was drink alcohol, everyone carried an ax. They

were wild disgusting people with not privacy or morals they don't understand what

socially acceptable and what's not. Vikings called themselves the russ which meant the

men who row, they traveled, discovered, and conquered lands they helped connect the

world like never seen before The way the traveled and got from one land to the next was

on their long ships, they even discovered north america five-hundred years before

columbus. Another thing that was very strange about vikings was the way they performed

funerals the ritual was whom ever died would be buried for ten days while they prepared

for the funeral, in this case the king/leader had died so his favorite slave was killed and

buried with him because their belief was that in the afterlife they would be reunited, the

way the favorite slave died was she was given a toxic potion but then they would grab her

and the “death god” would then stab her to death while two men held her down then they

would set them on fire and that would be the funeral. Discovery isn't just discovering

animals but it's also discovering new land, new people , a new world. Humans are always

growing and learning but without adventuring out and learning new things it's not going

to get you anywhere as an individual and as humanity in whole.

5) trade and industry was good for us but bad because it caused war, tin and bronze was

really great in the way as to what it did for us. It opened up a huge door for us. once we

saw how beneficial trading things were even small things were valuable to us everything

we do now is a trade whether it's exchanging money for food, working for shelter and

warmth. Back then huge trade was fod. Food for food, money for food. Literally

everything we do now is trading, or bargaining even are jobs are a trade, we are willing

to do mental and or physical labor in exchange for money furthermore that is a trade,

pretty much anything dealing with money is trade. If you really think about it humanity is

solely based around trading, even the golden rule treat others how you want to be treated

we are exchanging kindness for kindness. Tin and bronze helped transform work, the

reason these two elements are so important is because they will play a huge role in

making steel that later leads up to cities. Also guided us towards trade the reason we

have trades is because of tin and bronze , that’s all there was that was valuable in my

opinion tin and bronze were good for a little bit by everything else it caused confliction

that had lead us to war. it was a small step that lead into something huge like mass

production of steel, so the value of tin and bronze just seems so small in a world so big

the greatest thing it brought us was trade. The romans traveled five thousand miles to get

to china, their goal was to learn the secret of making silk, chinese silk was a natural fiber

spun by silkworms larvae, two thousand silkworms to make just one pound of silk. This

was something that the romans dearly wanted it was 2.2 billion dollars for silk, what the

romans didn't know is where it came from they believed that silk grew on trees and that

where it came from but that was not true that is why they went to china to find out the

secret but the chinese wouldn't break. China had guarded their secret for over three
thousand years obviously it's not a secret anymore but back then it was huge everyone

wanted it so it started to involve trade and industry.Trade has always been a big thing but

the reason i put it as one of the least important is because although it's huge and has

gotten us to where we're at today it's already been around for awhile at this point so it

wasn't really a shock to humanity like woah the idea of trade but now the whoa factor is

what being traded, everywhere around the world has different valuables so thats why

trade is needed because for example the vikings had something that was unique to the

arabians that was fur and the arabians had something unique to the vikings being gold,

even with china and silk i think one of the biggest things for humanity was knowing that

there are always going to be new items and places to be discovered so it never gets

boring.

6) weapons The chinese crossbow was huge for humanity and war. It changed war and the

way we fought forever, unlike the european crossbow the chinese crossbow could draw

back nearly 24 inches. Fives times further and the european crossbow, They were even

the same weight this bow just had high velocity it could travel nearly a quarter mile. It

also was the first modular weapon and that created interchangeable parts we could repair

fasterm, we were able to change strings, fix wood and repair the iron if needed. This also

lead us to the 1861 springfield rifle musket and from there the colt 45. The greeks created

a new weapon that forever changed us...which was unity/teamwork. The athens and the

spartans combined to defeat the persians they came up with the idea that if they worked

together with all of their force that they could defeat the persians and they did, their

method was to literally stand together and push their way through the persians. As the

persian believed that the if they were superior number wise they would take the win and
that was not the case. After this happen people started to realized that teamwork was a

huge success for humanity, nothing can be done with just one person not in a

relationship, not in a sport , not in school, nothing can be done with just one person and

that is when we made that realization, and from there forward we just blossomed using

the idea of teamwork and unity Claudius men had a huge advantage on other men being

armor, they were armed with sladious which are short swords made from steel. His men

were also armed with pilas and those were heavily weighted javels they were seven feet

long with a lethal medal spike. Also his men had the protection of shields, shields were

used for defense and attack. They also had something that a lot of other men did take

advantage of, claudius men worked together and they drilled and rehearsed over and over

again until it was drilled in their heads, everyone did their job and they did it right there

were over eighty thousand men. Armor is a small piece of a huge puzzle in the was but

without it the puzzle wouldn't be complete, it's a huge advantage to have armor and to

have to ability to guard yourself, it slowly eliminated the whole survival of the fittest

because we had all of these tools so really if you had it masters how to use the tools you

were given then you were set.For the first time the mongols used a biological weapon in

warfare being the plague. The mongols would use their dead men and place them in the

areas they wanted to conquer, destroy. The reason that this method was so successful was

because one the enemies didn't see it coming because it hadn't been done before but also

because you can't see bacteria, germs or disease. This was actually one of the smartest

attack methods in my opinion but it was also one of the worst because it lead to the

plague becoming airborne and killing literally millions of people even innocent children

and babies. Once the plague became airborne the kill rate rises from seventy percent to
one-hundred percent. So it no longer became a smart war tactic because it wasn't just

killing your enemies anymore it was killing everyone you loved and cared about if they

had came into contact with an infected victim. The viking had an iron axe and it was a

huge advantage when it came to fighting the native americans because all they had was

bow and arrows, hunting tools yes it could kill but you had to have good aim when it

came down to actually killing but the iron axe did have a disadvantage also because the

only way to use the axe was to be in close distance with your enemy to be able to attack

them. When people think of Viking age weapons, they usually think first of the battle axe,

and the image that forms in their mind is a massive weapon but really battle axes in the

Viking age were light, fast, and well balanced, and were good for fast attacks.A wide

variety of axe head shapes were used in the Viking age. There were three different 11th

century axe heads, while the photo to the left shows three earlier axe heads. In the early

part of the Viking era, the cutting edge was generally 7 to 15 cm long, while later in the

Viking age, axes became much larger. broad axes had crescent shaped edges 22 to 45 cm

long. The cutting edge of the largest of the axe heads shown to the right is 22cm long. The

edge of this axe is made of hardened steel welded to the iron head. The join line is clearly

visible in the sketch and in the historical axe head. The steel permitted the axe to hold a

better edge than iron would have allowed. Some axe heads were elaborately decorated

with inlays of precious metals, notably the Mammen axe head. The head is decorated on

every flat surface with inlays of silver and gold and was found in a rich grave that dates

from the year 971. Cited at

http://www.hurstwic.org/history/articles/manufacturing/text/viking_axe.htm The artillery

bomb was the key to the future of war, after this invention was made the world was never
the same because of what the turks did. They had sixty-nine canons with dedicated teams

working in shift to cool, clean, reload, and fire, each cannon could pack up to ten stone

balls. They pounded constant noble for fifty three days non stop and the stone walls could

no longer protect the community. This weapon was huge for warfare though because you

could now fight your enemies from a distance and do a lot of damage but you did have to

have a pretty big team depending on how much damage you wanted to cause because

there for one cannon there are four people so they are able to be affected in delivering the

bomb.

7) Farming became a huge part of the world that we live in today because working like this

forces us to develop a work ethic but one negative part of farming was we were working

so hard that we started to die at a younger age. Hunters actually lived longer than farmers

because they weren't forces to be put into such an intense work area, farming also shows

in history how we got stronger, hunters didn't want to change because they were

comfortable and when they got uncomfortable they fled the strong humans were the ones

who stepped up and made a change by farming. The reason farming came around was

because of one lady that know one even knows her name she planted seeds from her

strongest wheat plants making wheat more nutritious, Sixty pounds of bush made 70

loaves of bread that's a more efficient way to feed a large group of people or a big family

then trying to kill all these animals and with hunting there was also the chance that you

were going to miss then be unable to provide for your family, That's why wheat and

farming was such a benefit for mankind.Farming brought a lot around such as

domestication of animal although that happen before farming, it just brought it out more

the village is mankind’s first settled community. New figure leaders were smarter,
outspoken , and charismatic the first format of domesticated animals were pigs sheeps

and goats. There was a huge turning point within a thousand years most domesticated

animals we have today have been tamed for human use taming and breeding other

animals is the key to the growth of our population. Farming also opens up a new

battlefield...disease

8) gold Gold was very dangerous to get but once it was in your possession it became very

valuable, Gold was found in tunnels these tunnels that were built for the discovery of

gold were not that safe they were held up by little to nothing so if it crumbled on you it

would pretty much be the end for you, workers literally built their own graves. On

arabian ground there was this one mine that provided fifty tons of gold which in today's

world would be around seventy-two billion dollars. Gold miners put a huge investment

into gold mines and gold knowing that all of that could go to waist in a matter of seconds.

The gold rush sparked a boom in trade and a new chapter in mankind, the discovery of a

new religion islam. Africa gold will be the key to the greatest explosion of ideas. Today

gold minded deep underground but back then gold flowed in the bedrock of the nile river.

Two thirds of the worlds known gold reserves are found in west africa. Some men and

others reckless venus one hundred and seven muslims joined together and became a

thriving center of commerce, silk from the middle east, spices from india and the key to is

wealth is gold from africa. Also african gold was mended into ducats which is pretty

much coins, so if you really think about it african gold helped start up modern banking

9) democracy The greeks introduced something huge to humanity and that was democracy,

The athens decisions were not made by the king but by the citizens. How they did that

was they would have containers of white and black stones and each citizen would grab
one for what they wanted to do, if you took a black stone then that meant that you wanted

to surrender and if you took a white stone then that meant that you wanted to fight. Then

the king would inform the community what was going to happen based on the

communities votes, It's crazy to think about that how democracy started with stones and

what it represents it gives ordinary people a voice to where they are truly heard and i

think that pretty great honestly.

10) genghis khan/ mongols This man led the world's biggest and strongest army, the

mongols The reason his army and him were so successful was because of their discovery

of using a horse in the battlefield, with horses it extended how far you could travel in a

day and how fast his soldiers traveled around three-hundred miles per day. One thing that

genghis khan was known for was how cruel him and his soldiers were they would behead

prisoners, make towers out of human skull and he even raped hundreds of woman he

rapes so many woman that every one and two-hundred woman carry his genes today. It is

said that he is responsible for the deaths of at least forty-million people. Khan had a fairly

rough childhood i think he just wanted to prove something to the world that he could

overcome his childhood but he didn't know the right way to do that so he was just a mean

cruel person and basically controlled the lives of others to feel like he had power. The

mongols were the fastest traveling army in world war two because of horses, but there

was a drastic change in climate that forced the mongols to conquer china the reason they

wanted to conquer china was because of how valuable the city was it had some of the

most valuable materials such as grain, silk, and tea. Those are all things that the mongols

wanted so they were going to make sure they had them one way or another. The reason

that the mongols were so effective and powerful was because they had good
communication skills. Every thirty miles they had post will around four-hundred horses

that could carry information from one place to the next.

11) gun gunpowder was mostly found in fireworks and explosives It consists of a mixture of

sulfur, charcoal and potassium nitrate. , “human thunder” was when a small stone was

propelled by an explosive charge if you put those together it then becomes a very lethal

combinations. The future of the war was rewritten with that one valuable resource, if

guns were brought upon the battlefield then everyone became lethal, there was no longer

the survival of the fittest compnet because everyone had a gun and were equally powerful

on the battlefield. When the gun first came around it was a chinese secret, but then it was

exposed and nearly everyone everyone on the battlefield had a gun. Through trial and

error the gun becomes improved which is given with anything in life if you mess up in a

certain area then you see what you did wrong so when you go back to try again you learn

not to do what you were previously doing. Some improvements that were made on the

gun was increasing the range and increasing the length of the barrel the reason that the

gun became such a sensation was because it went from a two man weapon to a one man

weapon and that made usasage of a gun faster and easier. Also the innovation of a trigger

mechanism was something that was never seen before, the gun was just a really helpful

weapon for modern warfare.

12) cites Cordoba is an amazing city formed on the foundation of religion, it's in the southern

Spanish region of Andalusia, and the capital of the province of Córdoba. It was an

important Roman city and a major Islamic center in the Middle Ages. It’s best known for

La Mezquita, an immense mosque dating from 784 A.D., featuring a columned prayer

hall and older Byzantine mosaics. After it became a Catholic church in 1236, a
Renaissance-style nave was added in the 17th century.Córdoba remained a Christian

military base in the frontier warfare against the Muslim kingdom of granada. But the

substitution of Spanish for Muslim rule hastened the city’s economic and cultural decline,

and the fall of Granada in 1492 left Córdoba a quiet city of churches, monasteries, and

aristocratic houses.. Cited from https://www.britannica.com/place/Cordoba-Spain written

by the editors of encyclopaedia britannica, some other reasons why cordoba was a pretty

outstanding city is because of what happened in that city meaning Abis evan fornes he

was an amazing inventor and his discovery of flight occurred in this city so the roots of

the city were basically known for inventions. Rome is the largest city on earth having a

population of one million, about one fifth of the population is on welfare. There are so

many people living in the city it's hard for people to get a hold of food. Emperor claudius

had a huge impact on rome he was disabled, insured and the most powerful man in the

western world, He was seen as a god. Violence was a huge part of rome also because

there were so many people they literally had to fight for everything they wanted and

needed because of how huge the population was. Rome was also the world's first mega

city with thirty libraries, three theatres, and 80 temples. I would say what rome is known

best for is one their population and two there cites how they just expanded dramatically

with the creation of concrete along their side, the creation of the aqueduct was huge not

only for rome but for mankind because there wasn't any tools available to really use

besides men's strength and that was huge. Rome was literally torn to pieces, it was known

as the world's very first mega-city with over 60,000,000 people. The empire fell into a

melt down when the empire collapsed it caused a lot of bad things to occur such as

bringing war and savagery upon us. One of the greatest things that was lost was
technology..even writing was lost in some areas and that is a true shame, having the

knowledge and the desire to write and be able to is one of the greatest things we will ever

come across. lots of cities in rome shortly became abandoned such as london, rome lost

nearly ninety-five percent of their population. The key concept of rome being destroyed

is what happened after rome was destroyed. The most important thing in history isn't

what actually happens it's what happens whether that is repeating history or learning from

it and developing resilience. When amazing things are achieved such as rome becoming a

mega city then being destroyed we have to develop a sense of hope and resilience

because without the world we live into would not be the same, resilience is an important

part of history.

13) willingness willingness as a whole is a huge things without having the will to do things

that you usually wouldn't normally do is a game changer it goes back to the whole

staying comfortable where you're at, you will never grow if you stay where you're at if

you actually think about it you'll just be taking steps backwards because while you're

staying where you're at everyone else is going to be passing you by in this case it would

be history if you want to make a place in the book or in history you have to have some

courage and will such as Abis evan fornes without him risking his life and going out on a

ledge we wouldn't have the armstrong brothers or plane he was the source that generated

flight.

14) satisfaction Something that was addressed in the video is how human are never satisfied

and that honestly so true no matter how great things are going for us we think to yourself

aww poor me why can't it be better or why i cant be like this person and i'm not saying

that i'm innocent because i'm not were all guilty of this it's just really crazy to sit here and
think about how grateful we are as humans to be here and live our life everyday is such a

privilege. To have a car or phone is a privilege, to have a free education is a privilege but

yet we take it for granted honestly it's mind blowing to sit back and reflect on your

everyday life and how ungrateful we are, even the little things like if you order a

cheeseburger with extra pickle and they charge you let's say 10 cents extra for the extra

pickles and then you don't get any pickles of course you're going to be upset but just think

at least i got my cheeseburger that what i've been trying to do. No matter how bad the

situation is whether it's a cheeseburger to getting expelled i've been trying to see the best

in every situation. There is always good with bad and you have a choice on what you

want to choose and if you choose the bad then your not going to get anywhere.

15) trial and error The flow of ideas was great because there is not on person in the world

that is like another so if you have all these good things going on from different people

with different mindsets and when you put all those great things together you can get

something incredible, but with idea people you also have to have the people who put

action to those ideas because without them the ideas would be pointless, ideas just helped

put the world out honestly it forced people to be a little more creative in what they did

everyday. The concept of trial and error is the reason why humanity and society has

gotten this far in this video it was just shown through the gun, there are so many different

people in the world and when you put their minds together and generate new and better

ideas that's how you reach innovation, another example of something that has happened

in history and is proven that trial and error is effective is the thomas edison's invention of

the light bulb, he failed multiple times and it probably got exhausting failing continuously

but he didn't give up, if he would have given up then you never know we might not have
light or he wouldn't of been known for that because someone else would've thought of the

invention of the lightbulb and been successful, with this being said nothing in history can

really happen without trial and error because no one is perfect and have do something

huge for the first time without messing something up and that's okay. I feel like we live in

a world where everyone is so sensitive and instead of taking their failures and learning

from then they sit there and cry and that's something that honestly needs to change,

instead of dwelling over your failure or the times you messed up really sit back and

reflect on yourself and how you can improve and come back better than ever.

1) There was a man names ebin batuks he explored over forty countries, but never the

sahara his first him in the sahara he was there with no roads, no maps, no travel guides

only sand. This might seem crazy but the sahara was the key to mankind's survival after

the plague pretty much everyone and everything was wiped out but the reason the sahara

was so great was because of the temperature, it go up 135 degrees there which meant it

was too hot for the plague, the plague couldn't survive in extreme heat conditions. Fewer

living things can actually survive there because there was no water and it was so hot your

eyes and mind would start playing tricks on you, then your body's cooling system would

start to shut down and go into a heat stroke so even though the plague couldn't survive

there neither could humans.the greatest fear of every traveler is a sand storm and on this

day a sand story wiped up in seconds going 70 miles per hour it was so powerful that it

could stip paint off a car, if you did not have shelter you were going to die.
2) banking modern banking began in italy venus it is a magnet for the disadvantaged. Trade

was really the source of how modern banking started, you would trade something for

something that you wanted, money for materials ect. The only difference is that you were

trusting someone else with your money rather than yourself if you lost you money it

would be on you but if some else lost your money or took it from you then you would no

longer have trust in the banker and then banker would then lose his reputation because his

word didn't mean anything along with his promises to keep your money saved, that

banker would then be out of business. there is a man named enrico he was hungry for

money and tempted to take it so he did he took 350 coins which was over two pounds of

gold the banker chanced this man down because if people found out he let someone take

his customers money then he would then lose all of those customers, thieves have no

mercy there if you get caught thieving then you'll be hung.

3) construction It took fifteen years to complete the parthenon, the parthenon stands for

something important it was a symbol democracy , It was a temple to athena goddess of

wisdom. It was also a monumental symbol for the victory between the greeks and

persians. Concrete became the new building material very quickly, romans were the

holders of the concrete age. The key ingredient to concrete is volcanic ash, today two

thirds of the building we live in are made out of concrete along with all of the sidewalks

we walks on. Also once land was conquered the romans first priority was to come up

with a network of roads, roman roads were twenty three feet a crossed these roads

connected roman towns, and the conquered people became citizens of the

empire.Concrete plays a huge role in our everyday life it's a very stable substance that

gives us reliable places to do everyday things such as go to school, work, home, also it
helps us get from one place to another such as in a vehicle going across a lake using a

bridge it's mostly made of concrete along with steel. Buildings are the key to cities and

towns rome has 21 cities with a population over ten million, the secret to roman

construction was precision engineering ( A sub discipline of electrical engineering,

software engineering, electronics engineering, mechanical engineering, and optical

engineering concerned with designing machines, fixtures, and other structures that have

exceptionally high tolerances, are repeatable, and are stable over time.) The aqueduct was

a fairly big project it cost eight and three quarter million dollars that's ten times more that

the hoover dam. This was an advertisement of the romans power the emperor even names

it after himself the Aqua-Claudius. It took fourteen years to build and four hundred

thousand blocks of stone, six million feet of concrete, two hundred fifty million gallons

of water is available each day. That is enough for one thousand three hundred fountains,

nine hundred baths and one hundred forty four public toilets rome shortly becomes the

most advanced city in the world because of this one creation this goes to show how

importing building, creating and innovating is in our world.

4) shi huangdi shi huangdi was the first emperor of china, he had been fighting for that

position since he was thirteen years old, went through three assassination attempts. When

finally at the age of forty-nine he became emperor. He wanted to be emperor forever so

he took these mercury tablets that his doctor had been giving him, he believed these

tablets would bring him immortality, when really they just brought him to his death he

died at the age of forty-nine along with all of his wife's that would not provide him with

children.overall shi huangdi had a huge impact on china he also lead the building of the

great wall of china.

5) human growth When man discovered fire that started a chain reaction in the

development of humans physically and mentally. With fire we were now able to cook

anything cooking food gives us a second stomach outside the body that begins the

digestive process, thus giving humans smaller stomach and a bigger brain one of the big

this was meat. Being able to cook it made it easier to digest so we could there for eat

more the average amount of meat consumed by a person then was around 12 pounds a

meat during the cold times because there body was so cold they were crazing food to help

the cope with the cold. A success to fire with the cooking concept was we got more

nutrients so we started to grow the average high of a person slowly started to increase .

Like it said in the video our planet is the only known place with the right conditions for

fire to burn. Human growth over the past millions years incredible physically and

mentally. Archaeologists have used fossil evidence to piece together information about

the earliest humans. “Homo Heidelbergensis lived in Europe and Africa between 700,000

and 200,000 years ago. Males stood at an average of 5 feet 9 inches, while females were

shorter, their average height of 5 feet 2 inches.Homo floresiensis, nicknamed “the

hobbit,” lived in Asia between 95,000 and 17,000 years ago and was much shorter;

evidence from a female skeleton suggests an average height of a little more than 3 feet.

Neanderthals, man’s closest relative, lived in Europe and Asia between 200,000 and

28,000 years ago. Evidence suggests an average height of 5 feet 5 inches for males and 5

feet 1 inch for females. Scientists believe the short, stocky bodies of Neanderthals helped

them stay warm, allowing them to survive the harsh Ice Ages.” cited from

http://www.livestrong.com/article/542877-the-average-height-of-humans-over-time/

writen by kita kennedy. That is some information i found from the average height of
humans a long time ago to compared to now i believe the average height of a man in

america is 5’9. The genetic ancestor of mankind was two inches taller than a modern

american. Theses people were beasts, natural born killers but they had to be because if

you were then you were literally going to die because meat was one of the only food

sources, what it really came down to was survival of the fittest, if you were not fit then

you were not going to survive. Tools gave mankind a sense of power a feeling like they

were in control. Freeing up your hand to work with tools changes everything. Now a days

everything we have in our lives is a tool it helps us with at least something in our life we

are surrounded by tools but yet we still feel like we don’t have enough back then it was

enough to have the tools to survive their lives depended on the tools they had and how

they chose to utilize them. Humans are the first species to commit to weapons and tools

it's the key to controlling our world.Genetically modified humans was actually a huge

event now as never before we realized that we were literally able to control what the

outcome of our world by multiplying. If we found two sets of the two strongest humans

and the reproduced and breed their offspring and continued breeding them we would start

to see a pattern, survival of the fittest usually is related to animals for the most part. Back

then is when you saw it the most in humans especially with the men if you were not fast

and did not have accuracy then you would not be able to eat. Meat was one of the only

food sources then, so you needed it but if you could not kill then you would just die. Out

of the humans who could do all the necessary tasks to survive then you were one of the

fittests and they came up with better ways to kill , be safer and make things more useful.

6) long boats the viking used long boats to get from one place to another and they were

very valuable because the could get you from one place to the next very efficiently. The
Vikings built fast ships for raiding and war. These ships were dragon-ships or longships.

The Vikings also had slower passenger and cargo ships called knorrs. They built small

boats for fishing or short trips.Viking long ships could sail in shallow water. So they

could travel up rivers as well as across the sea. In a raid, a ship could be hauled up on a

beach. The Vikings could jump out and start fighting, and then make a quick getaway if

they werechased.Cited at

7) isolation isolation can be both a good and a bad thing, in this case it was a good thing

because the americans were isolated from europe they did not experience the plague, over

ninety-million people lived on these unknown continents. There are also bad side effects

from being isolated although the americans didn't have the plague which was good they

also did not have iron tools, wheeled vehicles, or horses so places like europe were more

advantaged in those aspects of life but then all of that was taken away from them when

the plague came along. They also wouldn't have the resilience that the europeans have

because they haven't been through something had like that and been came to come back

with more knowledge on what to do and what not to do.

8) ebis evan fones This man was an astronomer, engineer, and inventor. Some of his

previous invention are the water clock, planetarian, and the magnifying glass, later he

will invent flight years before the wright brothers. This man had a huge impact of history

because he was willing to jump off of a building to prove the knowledge of humanity and

that was something that stood out to people it was like a wow moment, this man was so

dedicated to standing up for something that he strongly believe in that he was willing to

die for it. It was recorded that in this efforts of trying to successfully fly he was like a
human with wings on almost like a bird the only thing he was missing was a tail so he

wasn't able to direct his flight which lead him to land flat on his face, with the troubles of

landing he suffered from severe back pain the the remainder of his life, but he did enter

history as the first man(human) to fly and that was a great achievement.

9) Warfare is a pretty big thing because here we are doing good learning, discovering, and

evolving then we have to bring destruction into all of. Warfare really brings out the

“human” in our humans are cruel and i think it shows more than just war you know war

represents something bigger than itself the society we live in today think everything

should be resolved by fighting for example high school student drama mostly guys when

they get mad at eachother they want to fight it out so they do. The aftermath everything

settles down, with girls though everything is drama and petty nothing ever gets solved

even if there is a fight after that they don’t make up they just trash talk each other. I

would like to see a world where there was true peace that is something that is needed in

today’s society instead of fighting and putting off hate but put off love, war is hateful i

don’t know a lot about of history but i have a pretty good concept on what is right and

wrong. The spartans society was dearly dedicated to war that was there soul purpose.

Aeneas was the prince of sparta, acting commander in chief in the sparta community they

start training boys as young as seven to prepare them for war, to train them as warriors.

Once they reach the age of eighteen they then release them to fight and defend their

community. Spartans are also the more disciplined and dedicated army compared to

athens and persians. Spartans and athens were fairly small compared to the persians, the

persian had a huge army so the athens were left with two choices, one to join their

enemies being spartans or join the persians, they made the decision to join the spartans so
it was the persians vs greek. Genseric was the king of the vandals, he was the spear king

of germanic warriors his eyes were on the riches of rome, and the ultimate price that was

worth even more than gold was the emporis. She was a widow, daughter of a christian,

she was also the last generation to carry on the fame. She was forced to be by generics

side for seven years and her daughter was forced to marry generics son. The Vandals

were a "barbarian" Germanic people who sacked Rome, battled the Huns and the goths ,

and founded a kingdom in North Africa that flourished for about a century until it

succumbed to an invasion force from the Byzantine Empire in A.D. 534. Cited at
