This year it fell on Saturday, March 31.
The model that Jesus established helps
us to determine not only the frequency,
but also the day and time of this
celebration. He instituted it on the 14th of
Nisan from the 33rd year after sunset,
according to the biblical lunar calendar
(Matthew 26: 18-20, 26).
To know what day corresponds to the
14th of Nisan, Jehovah's Witnesses used
the method that was followed in the time
of Jesus, and not the one used by Jews
today.
What people As it is such an important and
wear. special occasion, most people
are dressed in a formal way.
But it is not obligatory that all
people go dressed in this way,
they can do it commonly.
 What people In this new celebration, Jesus
do. used the unleavened bread
and red wine left over from the
Passover meal (Matthew 26:
26-28).
Today we do the same thing
that Mr. Jesus did, but
remembering that we do not
eat or drink of bread and wine.
