Although both history and legend recall past events. History can be defined as a record of
past event is true and usually has documentation On the other hand, a legend can be defined as a
traditional story that may or may not be true. The key difference between the two is that while
history is based on actual events and consist of a factual basis, a legend may not.
Story is a narrative, either true or fictitious, in prose or verse, designed to interest, amuse, or
instruct the hearer or reader.
Tale is a narrative that relates the details of some real or imaginary event, incident, or case; story:
Folk tale is a tale or legend originating and traditional among a people or folk, especially one
forming part of the oral tradition of the common people.

Fairy tale is a story, usually for children, about elves, hobgoblins, dragons, fairies, or other
magical creatures. Usually imaginative and fictional to entertain the hearer or reader.

Myth is a traditional or legendary story, usually concerning some being or hero or event, with or
without a determinable basis of fact or a natural explanation, especially one that is concerned
with deities or demigods and explains some practice, rite, or phenomenon of nature. Imaginative
and fictional.
Tangkuban perahu - Legend

Why? Because Tangkuban perahu is the name of a mountain. which was told by a ship that was
kicked by Sangkuriang. where Sangkuriang want to marry his mother Lady Sumbi. but he was
given a condition, when he failed to kick the boat he made to the upside. This boat becomes a
mountain. This story is imaginative and fictional because a boat can not possibly be a mountain

Why? The American discovery is history because the American continent exists. which refers to
the journey of colombos which has a timing of events that can be labeled as history

Why? Folk tale where there is told a child named malin kundang the lawless then cursed by his
mother to stone. Folk tale sometimes contains moral education messages. like the story of malin
kundang where we should not be ungodly to the parents.

Why? The romance of romeo and Juliet by william shakespeare. Romeo and Julia were
originally a tragic romance in ancient times. The story of Romeo, and Julia is based on the story
in Italy

Why? unidentified flying object. There is still a lot of speculation so it is still done related
research. But this ufo has made many films related to allien. which still many people are
imaginative and fictional

Why? Legend is a story about the origin of an area that is not known who the author and
ordinary inherited through the oral from generation to generation. This is imaginative and fiction
because the truth is still a question.

Why? Unicorn is a mythical animal in which is drawn like a horse that has horns. The unicorn is
an imaginative and fictional myth. If it is true there must be a protected animal so we can see it
in the zoo or wIldlife reserve.

imaginative and fictional because of the lack of physical evidence and the number of creatures
needed to sustain the population
