High Capacity OMNIPURE Treatment Units
The OMNIPURE™ 12MX and 15MX units offer increased treatment capacities for larger offshore installation demands.
All OMNIPURE units are designed for easy disassembly into component parts to allow for easy movement through
existing passageways and hatches and installation into tight spaces.
Available Standard Options include: Overboard Pump, Briner Unit, Dechlorination Unit, Vent Blower and Z-Purge Kit.
For applications requiring larger unit sizes, operators find it beneficial to install systems requiring less frequent
manual maintenance. The MXMP models offer the benefit of longer, continuous on-line operation between required
manual maintenance duties.

Process Module OMNIPURE Units
Process modules are available in the same treatment capacities as complete OMNIPURE units to take advantage of
existing influent and effluent tanks or tanks manufactured in place as well as very tight installation locations.*
Process modules are constructed of the same high quality industry standard components as are all other OMNIPURE
systems but without tanks mounted on the equipment’s base frame.
Due to specific equipment configuration criteria, process modules are sold as made-to-order packages requiring
Severn Trent De Nora engineering and design services. Each package design takes into account the customer’s
particular installation space, prefabricated or existing tanks and any equipment interfaces.
*Process module equipment arrangements may vary based on actual installation configuration.
OMNIPURE™ 15MXPM
Available Factory STANDARD Options
OMNIPURE™ units can be supplied with a variety of standard factory-installed options. Each unit is designed to be
easily fitted with any combination of options offered.
Overboard Pump
Required when the unit’s overboard discharge point is below a vessel’s water line or additional unit discharge
pressure is desired. 316 SS centrifugal pump is supplied mounted to the unit (12MC requires off-skid mounting) and
is pre-wired into the unit’s main control panel.
Dechlorination System
The dechlorination option uses a mixture of food grade sodium sulfite and seawater to effectively remove the
chlorine produced by the electrolytic process, before the effluent is discharged to sea. This option is required when
the effluent discharge cannot contain chlorine or the effluent discharge point is into sensitive waters. This option
provides the user with an off-skid mixing tank and dechlorination control panel. This system automatically injects a
measured amount of sodium sulfite into the effluent discharge line.
Blower
An electric blower may be included as a ship loose item for those applications where no compressed air is available
for the required powered V-2 vent, or when dilution of the vent gases is required. An air ejector is supplied normally
as standard equipment on all OMNIPURE units for removal of gases to a safe location. When air is not available, this
Blower is required. The associated blower circuit and motor starter are included in the unit’s main control panel.
Note:
The OMNIPURE equipment is MET NRTL Certified for use in hazardous area locations, rated Class 1, Groups C/D,
Division 2, and for meeting applicable UL and NEC electrical requirements.
Severn Trent De Nora CAPABILITIES
Severn Trent De Nora is a full service design, engineering and manufacturing company. Many OMNIPURE sewage
treatment systems are developed to meet application specific, made-to-order, needs. The quality and safety
expectations of clients worldwide are principles followed in development of each OMNIPURE unit. Severn Trent
De Nora is committed to achieving the below objectives through reviews and audits, corrective and preventative
actions, improved communication and employee participation.
• To continually improve the effectiveness of our ISO 9001-2000 Quality Management System
• To meet the product-related customer requirements
• To improve the cost effectiveness of the operation
Facility
Severn Trent De Nora’s global headquarters is located in Sugar Land, Texas, a few minutes southwest of Houston.
The Houston metropolitan area is rich with a legacy of onshore and offshore petrochemical and oil and gas
engineering and construction companies. Our manufacturing facility location allows Severn Trent De Nora to be
centrally located to all aspects of the industrial market, offering many quality sub-vendors, fabrication yards and
warehousing facilities serving the industry needs.
Manufacturing
Our 55,000 ft2 manufacturing facility has been building standard and made-to-order OMNIPURE sewage treatment
systems for over 26 years. Our facility is composed of a stocked parts warehouse, various component and large
equipment assembly areas and a full ‘wet’ test bay for support of all the equipment manufactured. A highly trained
staff of technicians and specialists perform the various manufacturing duties to insure all products are built to
design, maintaining high quality and workmanship. All factory acceptance testing is done on the premises prior to
equipment shipment to site.
Engineering
Our fully staffed engineering department develops made-to-order OMNIPURE equipment packages to fit customer
needs and field installation requirements. The project management staff works directly with clients to effectively
implement custom projects from inception of design to completion of manufacturing and on-site commissioning
duties. Each project has an assigned project engineer who is responsible for internal project implementation and
organization and who is available directly for related project activities. Our engineers routinely work with clients to
enhance the OMNIPURE systems to include custom features such as NEMA 7 controls, hazardous area equipment,
structural steel modifications, special tank layouts and process piping configurations.
Design
Severn Trent De Nora’s design department uses the latest AutoCAD® graphical design software, coupled with 3-D
modeling capabilities, to effectively pre-plan, design and finalize all manufactured OMNIPURE equipment packages.
Our professional, motivated and highly trained team of mechanical and electrical designers provide the attention to
detail needed to efficiently produce system designs.
Made-to-Order Capabilities
Severn Trent De Nora often enhances the standard OMNIPURE product line with customer-specific modifications
where applicable. The OMNIPURE units are routinely installed in classified (hazardous) locations offshore, requiring
NEMA 7 controls and/or air purging devices (Z-Purge) for code compliance. Other system modifications include
multiple grinding streams; increased capacity holding and surge tanks; specialized structural steel design;
sectionalized skids and tanks; purpose built sewage lift stations; and integrated vacuum interface controls. Severn
Trent De Nora takes pride in the relationships formed with its customers around the world and strives to continue to
provide “purpose built” equipment and systems for the specialized offshore market.
Severn Trent De Nora promotes environmental responsibilities within the company, while staying in constant
touch with the changing world of environmentally sensitive matters. Reduction of energy, emissions and
pollutants are all active ventures within Severn Trent De Nora.
Severn Trent De Nora continually emphasizes the Health and Safety of its employees and all those who
come into contact with its operations. Our active community involvement, investment and education
programs ensure that we have a positive impact on local communities.
