A. PRELIMINARY

Creative industries are defined as cultural role in providing


economic added value through creativity and innovation in
product development industry. Creative industries can be
achieved with the ability to create value creative culture based
on new concepts. Creative industries are supported by creative
human resources, technology has proven a major contribution
in economic development.
Creative Industry consists of the creative cluster includes
creative labor, community designers, stakeholders, supported
by educational institutions and government policies. Creative
industries become integrated with all business sectors, such as
manufactured products, craft products, tourism products and
products from other services.
Development of future that one of the mainstay industry
of developed countries and developing industry is an industry
with a creative approach bandaged with a mix of cultural
heritage / local wisdom with a touch of art and technology to
be marketed to the international community.

B. INDONESIAN GOVERNMENT SUPPORT FOR


CREATIVE INDUSTRIES AND FOLLOW-UP SHOULD
BE DONE TOGETHER

1. Socialization programs, creating an understanding of


culture-based creative economy and cultural heritage by
way of the socialization of Representatives (DPR), cross-
ministry cooperation Regional Governments, businesses,
schools and colleges and other stakeholders.

2. Identification Program,
a. Create maps based national flagship product of culture
and cultural heritage as well as regions
b. Develop a national database

c. Research to calculate the contribution of creative
industries sectors of the national GDP, for stacking
nomenclature of Indonesia's creative economy and
determine its development priorities
d. Creating a target contribution of creative industries
sectors to GDP
e. Make a scale of priority sectors of the leading creative
industries can be accelerated

3. Legal Protection Program


a. Structuring Rules on Economic Development based
creative culture and heritage,
b. Conduct Dissemination of Intellectual Property Rights
c. Protecting Intellectual Property Rights for the rich
culture and heritage

4. Education Program
a. Activation of vocational schools and colleges related to
the creative economy
b. The opening of vocational schools and programs based
on creativity and cultural studies
c. Activation of creative and cultural community
d. Scholarship creative and cultural education
e. Capacity building of cultural actors and producers

5. Institutional Program, Forming Agency / Institution of


new or existing empowerment in the central and local
government as an institution for research and development,
policy makers, promoters, facilitators, catalysts with the aim
of Accelerating the process of developing culture-based
creative economy and cultural heritage and local level;

6. Infrastructure Program
a. Improved communications infrastructure, transportation
and telecommunications
b. Activation of development or training facilities and
production

The things above are aimed at:


(1) Introducing cultural products to national and world
level
(2) Facilitate the provision of capital for production for
producers
(3) Provide tax incentives for those who provide credit
and capital to the producers of culture-based creative
products and cultural heritage
(4) Seeking reduction of import duty on the export
destination countries
(5) Facilitate the necessary permits
(6) Protecting Indonesia's creative products
(7) Rewards the achievement of children of the nation.

C. ROLE OF CULTURE AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
