Abstract
Real Time Flood Disaster Early Warning System (RTFDEWS) consists of hardware and software. Hardware
consists of a water level sensor, Instrumentation Box consisting of a signal amplifier and a minimum set of ATmega
system with a 8535 series controller. Other hardwares are a radio modem and Handheld Transceiver (HT) as a radio
communication module. With this communication module river water height level data is sent to the Server Computer.
The Server Computer serves as the Web Server and SMS Server. So that every time the data acquisition process
can be displayed in real-time and online via the web. And these data also can be accessed using cellular networks. This
server also completed by prediction software based on neuro-fuzzy algorithm. This system is given the flood data for
years ago, in order to have the ability to predict flooding in the future. Further data and predictions of the acquisition
of these data can be monitored by the user Officer, and General Users around the world, uses the internet medium and
cellular networks.
Keywords: RTFDEWS, web server, sms server, neuro-fuzzy.
