Mutare
04 May 2016
I am a lady aged 25 who holds a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Psychology from the
University of Zimbabwe.
Key among my interests in the organisation are the values, ideas and reputation of the organisation
that fit my ambition of being a well-equipped community program facilitator in children’s rights.
In addition, the post seeks to offer an individual a unique opportunity to gain work experience,
skills and knowledge in computing and society as a whole.
I would like to bring to your attention my working experience since I completed my University
degree in 2013. I worked as a Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant at GIZ (German International
Cooperation), an international organisation located in Mutare (July 2014 to December 2015). I was
also an assistant to the Group Development Specialist at that organisation.
I also had a short stint with Simukai Child Protection Programme from March to June 2014 where
I volunteered as an assistant to the Zimbabwe Orphan Empowerment officer. Apart from these two
organisations, I also volunteered at International Citizenship Service (Progressio) from January to
March 2014. Through volunteering in these organisations, I have gained immense experience in
working with diverse groups of people which has given me an expert insight of emotional
intelligence. I have also improved my computer skills, communication skills both written and
spoken and my level of confidence.
Yours Faithful
