Every year, JCI INDIA recognizes ten young individuals between 18-40
years of age across India as OUTSTANDING YOUNG PERSON
Awardees, who exemplify the best attributes of young people.
ABOUT THE EVENT : The ‘Ten Outstanding Young Indian’ Program is an offshoot of
the ‘Ten Outstanding Young Persons of the World’ (TOYP)program
The Ten Outstanding Young Persons of the World Program, adopted by JCI in 1938, serves to
formally recognize young people who excel in their chosen fields and exemplify the best
attributes of the world’s young people. By recognizing these young people, JCI encourages
them and others to seek excellence and serve others. Thus, JCI contributes to prepare
better leaders, who will create better societies. Past Receipients at the World level include
personalities like US Presidents John F Kennedy, Richard Nixon, Bill Clinton and other personalities like
Christopher Reeve, Elvis Presley, Jackie Chan, Henry Ford II, Kanubhai Tailor among others. All the above have been
crowned with TOYI before attaining the age of 40.
The TOYI program in India started in 1976. Awardees selected in past years have represented the heights of progress
in numerous human endeavors. Many have gone on to even greater achievements. All have continued to serve
humanity in a great variety of ways.
The awardees will be honored in a glittering award ceremony organized during the
NATCON
Every year, JCI INDIA recognizes three achievers at the national level
as Outstanding Businessmen/Industrialists and Professionals
Awards.
ABOUT THE EVENT: JCI India will select three citizens from
any part of India and honour him / her with 'The Achiever
Award" in recognition of his / her outstanding achievement /
contribution in the sphere of Profession / Business / Trade
Entrepreneurship. The awardee is selected for the National Award after being initially selected
at the Chapter level, and forward their nominations for the selection at the National level.
TOBIP started in India in 2000. This Award Program has taken deep roots in the organization and appreciated by many.

Winner will be selected by a group of distinguished judges on the basis of his / her given
criteria.
Important Notes:
1. The Nomination for both awards must reach at National Head Quarter of JCI India on or before 30th October 2010
2. The Nomination should be submitted in a CD/DVD format only.
3. Alternation in the Nomination form is not permitted
4. Incomplete nomination will not be considered for judging.
5. Declaration form is compulsory.
6. The Nominee’s age should not be more than 40 years of age for OYP.
7. There is no age bar for TOBIP award.
