Dear Student,

Congratulations! The Caine College of the Arts is pleased to announce that your outstanding
academic performance for Spring Semester 2017 has earned you a place on the Dean's List.

This selection is based on the completion of at least 15 graded credits, while earning a grade
point average of 3.5 or above. This accomplishment is a source of shared pride: the pride we feel
in the outstanding scholarship in our college and the pride you must feel in your own success.

Although grades are not the only basis for achieving professional success, they are still
important factors, especially in certain types of employment. Your personal and cultural
development is also an important part of the educational experience, and we encourage you to
balance your education while still maintaining the high level of academic achievement you have
shown in the classroom and laboratories.
