ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to describe and examine about the
implementation of religious character education in early childhood education in
order to answer the problem about (1) the construction of a religious character
values in children 4-6 years (2) implementation of a religious character education
On children aged 4-6 years, (3) factors that influence the implementation of
religious character education On children ages 4-6 years and (4) efforts in tackling
religious character education implementation constraints In children ages 4-6
years.
The study used qualitative descriptive method , data was collected through
interview, observation and documentation. The source of the data collected from
Headmaster, Teachers, and parents in PAUD Aisyiyah pabelan.
The results of this research demonstrating that: (1) construction of a
religious character is done through refraction since an early age and through
religious activities such as: children accustomed to carry out religious activities
such as memorizing short surah of al-quran, daily prayer, prayers in congregation
(2) Implementation of early childhood religious characters conducted in several
forms of activities include: Intra-curricular Activities, extra-curricular activities
and habituation activities, (3) factors that influence the implementation of
religious character education On children ages 4-6 years are the involvement of
teachers, parents and the environment in the implementation of school character
education , (4) Strategies for Implementing religious character education on early
childhood in PAUD Aisyiyah Pabelan include: teacher-parent meetings, doing
emotional religious approach to the students that still has higher ego, the teacher
gives the example that is both a religious and an evaluation between the OLD and
the Head teacher.
