PRELIMINALY

A. Background

Mining is an industry that process natural resources by processing the

mineral to produce a variety of end products required of humanity. Therefore, the
mineral is one icon that is needed by the world today, where the development
times of natural mineral wealth merupan number one in the world even though
Indonesia. Natural riches contained therein earth and water are commonly referred
to, mineral deposits, which are contained in article 33, paragraph 3 of the 1945
Constitution which reads "that the earth, water, and natural resources therein shall
be controlled by the State and used profusely for the prosperity of the people ".
The 1945 Constitution is the foundation of development of mining and energy to
exploit the potential of its natural resources, minerals and energy that optimally in
support of sustainable development.
B. Purpose

The world's mining industry is basically very enthused by the community to work
directly in the mining industry. Therefore, the mining environment has several
objectives in the development so that the environment is said to be the world
mining industry worldwide. The purpose of this research is mining environment
To improve management of forest resources, mining and energy with
environmental sustainability.

MINING AT A GLACE

Mining may well have been the second of man’s endeavors-granted that
agriculture was his first. But the two certainly rank together as the primary or
basic industries of human civilization.
The essence of mining in extractingmineral from the eart is to drive or
contruct an excavation, a means of entry, from the existing surface to the mineral
deposit. If the excavation is entirely open to or operated from the surface, it is
called a surface mine. If the excavation cosists of openings for human entry driven
below the surface, then it is an underground mine. The specific details of the
procedur, layout, and equipment used distinguish the mining method, uniquely
determined by the physical, geologic, environment, economic, and legal
circumstances that prevail.
Mining is not done in isolation, nor is it an entity unto it self. It is preceded
by geologic investigations that locate the deposit and economic analyses that
prove it financially. Following extraction of the coal, stone, or ore, the run-of-

mine material is generally prepared or beneficiated in procedures termed mineral
processing. The products of those processes may then undergo further
concentration, refinement, or fabrication during conversion, smelting, or refining
to provide consumer products. The end step in converting a useful mineral into a
usable product is marketing.

SEKILAS TENTANG PERTAMBANGAN

Pertambangan mungkin telah menjadi kedua pria upaya-begitu saja bahwa

pertanian adalah yang pertama. Tapi dua tentu peringkat bersama sebagai industri
primer atau dasar peradaban manusia.
Inti dari pertambangan di penggalian mineral dari eart adalah untuk
mendorong atau contruct penggalian, sarana entri, dari permukaan yang ada untuk
deposit mineral. Jika penggalian sepenuhnya terbuka untuk atau dioperasikan dari
permukaan, itu disebut tambang permukaan. Jika penggalian terdiri dari bukaan
untuk masuk manusia didorong di bawah permukaan, maka itu adalah tambang
bawah tanah. Rincian spesifik dari prosedur pembayaran, tata letak, dan peralatan
yang digunakan membedakan metode penambangan, unik ditentukan oleh fisik,
geologi, lingkungan, ekonomi, dan keadaan hukum yang berlaku.
Pertambangan tidak dilakukan dalam isolasi, juga bukan suatu entitas
kepada diri. Hal ini diawali dengan penyelidikan geologi yang menemukan
deposit dan analisis ekonomi yang membuktikannya secara finansial. Berikut
ekstraksi batubara, batu, atau bijih, bahan run-of-tambang umumnya disiapkan
atau benefisiasi dalam prosedur disebut pengolahan mineral. Produk dari proses-
proses tersebut maka dapat mengalami konsentrasi lebih lanjut, perbaikan, atau
fabrikasi selama konversi, peleburan, atau pemurnian untuk menyediakan produk
konsumen. Akhir langkah dalam mengkonversi mineral yang berguna menjadi
produk yang dapat digunakan adalah pemasaran.

A. Conclusion

Mining is an activity that starts from the general investigation, exploration,

mine planning, development, mining, processing, and penjualan.Selain it, mining
also has two systems, namely surface mine and underground mine.

A. Criticims

Lack of facilities in the procurement of lab and in the lab when not in
accordance with the rules that have been announced and there are still many
students who are late in the process pratikum English and less strict
regulations are still many students who come late in the process pratikum

B. Suggestion

When practicum material must be ready not wait until recorded on the board
as it takes to answer questions from the material in the present and in the
process pengabiskan time pratikum English
