Whit  Hughes  Campaign  releases  first  quarter  fundraising  totals

Madison,  MS  –  Today,  Republican  Whit  Hughes,  a  candidate  for  Mississippi’s  Third
Congressional  District,  released  his  quarterly  fundraising  totals.  The  Hughes
campaign  raised  $304,354  since  entering  the  race  on  January  17.  Over  four  hundred
and  fifty  individuals  have  contributed  to  the  Hughes  campaign.

Statement  from  Whit  Hughes:
“Shelley  and  I  are  deeply  grateful  for  the  generous  financial  support  from  so
many  people  throughout  the  Third  Congressional  District.  We  are  working
hard  every  day  to  share  my  conservative,  pro-‐growth  message  with  voters  in
the  district.  If  elected  to  Congress,  I  will  fight  every  day  for  every  community
and  county  in  the  third  district.”

Statement  from  Starkville  Businessman  and  Campaign  Finance  Co-‐Chair,  Johnny  Fair:
“I’m  proud  to  support  Whit.  His  background,  both  personally  and
professionally,  make  him  the  kind  of  conservative  we  need  in  Washington
representing  Mississippi.    Whit  is  a  strong  leader  and  I  know  he  will  go  to  DC
and  fight  to  get  things  done  for  our  state.”
