Water:

With two thirds of the earth's surface covered by water and

the human body consisting of 75 percent of it, , it is evidently
clear that water is one of the prime elements responsible for
life on earth Also wáter it is important in our diet because it
helps the body to perform specific metabolic tasks and
regulates our body temperature.
One of the items people, animals, and our environment cannot
live without water. Water is extremely vital in everyday life
of drinking, washing clothes, animals, grains, cleaning, and so
many other uses that eliminating water would eliminate our
species .
Our drinking water today, far from being pure, contains some
two hundred deadly commercial chemicals. Add to that
bacteria, viruses, inorganic minerals (making the water hard)
and you have a chemical cocktail that is unsuitable (if not
deadly) for human consumption.
The global consequences of using so much water are that
globally we are in a water crisis. The demand for water is
always a necessity and as population increases the need for
water increases. For example we live in an Island where it
doesn´t rain a lot and there isn’t enogh water for all the
population and for all the tourism that came to visit us, so we
should care the wáter and also find solutions too.
The first step to protect water is for people to become more
economical. If they control how they use water at least while
washing dishes or brushing their teeth, they can save huge
amounts of water.
Apart from water disappearing, the problem of water
pollution takes place in the modern world nowadays. In some
water areas become insufficient for using because the level of
their pollution is unacceptably high. It makes water resources
impossible for people to consume, and fishes and plants to live
in. To prevent pollution, large plants and factories have to
control their emissions and assume measures to provide them
with the appropriate equipment, which helps to reduce the
emissions.
This summer in many beaches of our Canary Island Brown
spots have appeared and some scientists said that these Brown
spots were a type of seaweed that had appeared due to the
increase of te temperatura in the wáter, but other people
affirm tha theses spots were waste of Wells in bad state, and
in many cases these Wells are from hotels.
So, I hope that the authorities force these hotels to fix these
wells because it gives a very bad appearance to Cannary
Islands.
Another problem that we can see in the waters of the Canary
Islands is the rubbish that is thrown into the sea, an example
is that 200 kg have been collected from the bottom of the las
teresitas’ beach , and most of them were packaging

In my opinión, we should be more conscious about the

importance of the wáter and also keep it clean to drink and
the sea, because we live around the sea and the popullation
live tahnks to the tourism,.
