Pampanga Resort Owner charged with Unlawful Pursuit of Business and

Issuance of Unregistered Receipt
The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) filed a criminal complaint last March 9,
2018 with the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor, Province of Tarlac against KURDAN
PRINTHUB TRADING INC. (owner and operator of GOSHEN RESORT AND HOTEL)
together with its corporate President MARCIANO FRANCISCO PARAS for Unlawful
Pursuit of Business and Issuance of Unregistered Receipt under Sections 258 and 264
of the National Internal Revenue Code of 1997, as amended (Tax Code).

KURDAN PRINTHUB TRADING INC. (GOSHEN RESORT AND HOTEL) is a

domestic corporation with registered address at 3-4 Arayat St., Diamond Subdivision,
Balibago Angeles City.

The complaint stemmed through a Tax Compliance Verification Drive

(TCVD)/Tax Mapping operation conducted by RDO Christine M. Cardona of RDO No.
17A – Tarlac City wherein the said establishment was found operating without the
requisite registration and payment of the required annual registration fee.

In addition, said company was also sued for its issuance of receipts of another
corporation, for using a different address other than the place of business; and issuance
of Acknowledgment Receipts.

The case against KURDAN PRINTHUB TRADING, INC. together with its
corporate officer – MARCIANO FRANCISCO PARAS is the 1st RATE case for 2018 of
Revenue Region No. 4, Pampanga under the leadership of Atty. Jethro M. Sabriaga.
