DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:
MEP Design:
Design Basis Reports
Design of systems for Heating, Ventilation, Air-conditioning, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire-
Protection, Fire Detection, Solar Energy, Building Automation & Security Systems.
Preparation of Technical specifications and bill of quantities
Review of Technical Submittals from the respective contractors
Coordination and resolution of queries from site
Project Management:
Preparation of Design Brief in terms of function ability, cost, time quality and safety
Preparation of Work break down structure
Preparation of Project Master Schedule with base line
Cost control during all stages of design and design development
Submitting weekly and Monthly progress reports
Reconciliation and Certification of Final bills of contractors, suppliers, vendors and consultants
Preparation of project close-out reports including learning
Collate and verify all As-built drawings.

SCOPE OF SERVICES- MEP WORKS
1. Concept Design (Through Process) (CDS)
a.) Design Reports.
b.) Space Planning.
c.) Schematic Design (SLD).
2. Municipal/Fire Submission
a.) Drawings for Submission.
b.) Necessary Calculations like Electrical Loads, Ventilation Calculations and Hydraulic
Calculations etc.
c.) Necessary Documents like Fire Form etc.
1. Pre-construction Stage
a.) Analyze Client's project related requirement
b.) Prepare the Design Brief in terms of function ability, cost, time quality and safety
c.) Develop project control system
d.) Finalization of project organization chart
e.) Establishment of project communication and reporting system
f.) Preparation of works break down structure
g.) Preparation of Project Master Schedule with base line
h.) Preparation of Design/Drawings deliverables schedule
i.) Feedback on the Master Budget of the project
j.) Co-ordination and follow up with Architect and other design consultants for their
inputs
k.) To identify and suggest consultant/designers for specialized requirement
l.) Lead project meetings as necessary for review of progress
m.) To set up, track, monitor a design deliverable schedule
n.) Checking & verification of designer's submissions (design basis reports, value
engineering, cost benefit analysis, drawings etc.)

r.) Monitoring the statutory approvals process by follow - ups with liaison consultants
and reporting the progress.
s.) Conducting pre-bid meetings and feedback for the completeness of tender
specifications and technical parameters.
t.) Comparative statements & techno-commercial evaluation reports.
u.) Submitting weekly and Monthly progress reports.
2. Construction Stage
a.) Full time supervision of all construction works/activities for the project
b.) On site design co-ordination and issue of drawings/clarifications.
c.) Organize approval to contractors shop drawings, product data sheets, samples.
d.) Refinement of works breakdown structure
e.) Monitoring the progress of work with Master Construction Schedulel
f.) Prior flagging of anticipated bottleneck and analysis of its reasons
g.) Day to day correspondences including contractual issues
h.) Change order management for design changes and extra items
i.) Prepare QA/QC plan and method statement
j.) Quality assurance and control to ensure conformance to drawings and specifications.
k.) Establish EHS plan (Environment, Health and Safety)
l.) Issue GFC drawings to respective contractors and keep updated record issued.
m.) Scrutinize and check working drawings received from Architect/Designer
n.) Organize progress review meetings on weekly basis
o.) Collect, review and maintain all the records of contractors, daily progress reports.
3. Post-Construction Stage
a.) Advice about probable date of substantial completion
b.) Preparing & addressing the schedule of defects/punch lists.
c.) Provide assistance in Testing and commissioning of the facility
d.) Collection and integration of various O nad M Manuals, commissioning & test
certificates
e.) Reconciliation and Certification of Final bills of contractors, suppliers, vendors and
consultants
f.) Preparation of project close-out reports including learning
g.) Collate and verify all As-built drawings.
h.) Addressing any queries during defect liability period
i.) Co-ordination with Contractors to rectify the defects during the defects liability
period
