¡Un año nuevo! A New Year!

Mi resolución para el año nuevo es
encontrar tiempo para leer más novelas.
Los libros abren ventanas a mundos
que nunca he visto y a los rincones más
remotos de mi corazón e imaginación.
Cada mes, en Highlights High Five
Bilingüe™ incluimos dos o tres cuentos;
cada uno es un pequeño mundo en sí
mismo. Espero que ayuden a su hijo a
descubrir nuevos lugares e identificarse
con sus propias experiencias
y dificultades.
Al leer a los niños en inglés y en
español les mostramos el camino para
ser buenos lectores en ambos idiomas,
así que hagamos todos la resolución de
leer más.

My New Year’s resolution this year is
to find time to read more novels. They
open windows into worlds I’ve never
seen and into the deepest corners of my
own heart and imagination.
Each month in Highlights High Five
Bilingüe™ we include two or three
stories—each a little world of its own. I
hope they help your child discover new
places and recognize some of their own
experiences and struggles.
Because reading aloud to children in
English and Spanish sets them on the
path to becoming confident readers in
both languages, let’s all resolve to read
more.
