Are you looking for scholarships in Canada?

We’ve curated top 19 scholarships in Canada that you must apply, provided you meet their

Why?

Because I want you to succeed in your goal to study in Canada (and other countries). And I

worrying about that please focus on identifying your target schools,
writing your essays and applying to those schools. If you get admitted
and are among top profiles, you may get some scholarships. If not,
there are other ways to fund your education – loan, part-time, TA/RA

Hey ..thanks for reaching out … rather than scholarship a better

approach is to look for admission at a good school. If you get
admission and your GPA/test score and overall profile is good, most
likely you would get at least some scholarships. So start your
application process first.

Hallo,

Shares Firstly, i would like to thank you for uploading the list of scholarships.
I`m a German medical student and would like to take part in a medical

research program in Canada for my `Doktorarbeit` (Dissertation).
 Unfortunately, i`ve just missed the deadline for the mitacs globalink research
internship .

Could you recommend me another program or give me some advice on how
 to find this kind of research intership in Canada, which would also be funded
by the university or hosital (lab)?
 I would be grateful for your help.

mentioned for each scholarships. That would be the best way.. all the
best!

Rahul, in addition to IELTS, you also need above average score in

12th. Your extra-curricular will also play important role.

Garth Marcaida on November 20, 2017 at 7:35 pm

Hi, uhm may I ask what you mean by “above average score in 12th”
and can you tell us what the average score is? Thanks!

Manish Katyan on November 21, 2017 at 11:00 am

97
Shares That depends on your board of examination. For Indian students
under CBSE board, a score of 90%+ will be above average from

scholarship point of view.

Thanks Sandra for reaching out! You have a good GPA.. congrats!
Top universities would ask for GRE; For others, GRE will further
strengthen your profile. So if you can, do take GRE. TOEFL or IELTS
would be mandatory and you need minimum marks to meet language
proficiency criteria. There may not be any full scholarships for
international students. But I am sure you would get some partial
scholarships. Please reach-out to universities that you are applying –
we have updated the list to include scholarships from individual
universities. In addition, there are other ways to fund your education
such as part-time, financial aid and loans. So don’t worry too much

about scholarships. Rather focus on getting admission from some top

a great academic background, research experience and overall profile

will surely increase your scholarship chances. This does sound like
generic advise but it’s what that matters for scholarship. You best bet
is to identify right schools for you and apply. If your profile is good, you
would get at least some scholarships.

Manish Katyan on November 13, 2017 at 2:36 pm

Shreya,
 – best time to apply would be from July of 2017 for Fall 2018
admission. You would take your test (GRE, IELST, TOEFL) as
 required by Sep-Oct 2017. Then you would keep 2 months to

 shortlisting your schools and start submitting your applications by mid

of November to target early deadlines at many schools.

– a great academic background will definitely help. great if you could

supplement that with some relevant project or internships. Also, get
some extra-curricular for leaderships, team work and social
experience.

Also it’s mentioned that the student must maintain a first-class

Would that be equivalent to my 2nd and 3rd year of undergraduate
studies?

Manish Katyan on October 30, 2017 at 6:39 pm

Gloria, thanks for reaching out! You should be able to apply for your
PhD after your 5 year B.Sc. You may want to reach-out to your target
schools and ask them specifically about it. For UBC and Calgary, you
need high GPA – something above 90% would strengthen your
chances. If you are able to finish a couple of research projects, and
