of us will introduce the different elements of art and stories. Paper and pencil

K (Know) We are going to practice what we know about story and art elements 15 min
by coming up with our own stories! You have 10 minutes to come up
with a short story and drawings to go along with it. Chart paper

Activity In partners, students will answer the following questions using active 15 Min
listening strategies:

What story elements did you include?

What art elements did you include?
How did incorporating art into your story help your partner better
understand the elements of your story?

Closing Students will paste the story elements and art elements paper in their 10 min
new sketchbooks. They will turn and talk about what they learned
about the elements of a story and elements.
