Objective
SWBAT practice teamwork and explain the importance of teamwork.

Teaching/Learning Activities
Human Knot Activity
• Students stand in a circle with ~10 of their classmates
• Students place one hand in the circle grabbing the hand of someone across from them.
Students should not be holding hands with anyone right next to them.
• Students place the other hand in the circle, grabbing the hand of someone across from
them. Students should be holding hands with 2 different people.

Extra Challenges
• No talking
• Timed
• Eyes closed

Discussion
• What made that activity difficult? What made that activity easy?
• How did you feel at the start of the challenge? How did you feel by the end of the
challenge?
