All cables shall be supplied on non retumable steel or wooden reels. ulicle # 5.0 - Ten 100% Payment shall be rade by cheque at 30 days from the date of delivery of materials and agains! submission of following documents: a) Two originals of invoice with signature & company stamp. b) One original of Delivery Note. ¢) Test Reports as applicable, Your company name in invoice shall be exactly identical to the company name mentioned in this order on the first page. This is a mandatory requirement from our Accounts Depariment for processing payment. Article # 6.0 - Delivery Period : Entire quantity of Cables shall be kept ready for delivery at your Jeddah works after Inspection by the Independent Inspection Agency to be appcinted by us, within 6-8 weeks from the date of Purchase Order and the cables shall be delivered fo our AlJalawiyyan site store within 4 days from the date of release for shipment. Al jicle # 7.0 - rance / Reel Length : The tolerance in length for each cable drum shall be + 3%, The cables shall be supplied without any negative tolerance in each drum. The tolerance for total length shall be + 3% of the ordered quantity for each size of cable. Boga dyile gl CY lial! 4592 NCC-T8D/SE/30731087/PO-25 Page -3 Atticle # 8.0 - Warranty: The cables shall be guaranteed by you agains! defects in materials, workrnanship and manufacturing defects for a period of 36 months from the date of delivery or 24 months from completion of installation whichever is earlier. if the cables supplied by you are found defective, as a result of faulty design or defective materials or workmanship you shall arrange lo replace Ihe same at your cost Article # 9.0 - Letter of Performance Guarantee: You shall submit a Performance Guarantee Letter (Indieu of Performance Bank Guarantee) valid up fo the expiry of Warranly period (31.01.2013) for the faithful performance of this purchase order. As a special case, we are accepting for this atrangement only for this order and the same shall not be taken as precedent for future orders. Atlicle # 10.0 - Penalty: In case the materials covered by this Purchase Order are not delivered before the delivery stipulated in Article # 6.0 above, a penalty of 4% (half percent} of the Purchase Order price per week of delay subject lo maximum of 4% (Four per cent) of the Purchase Order price will be levied on you. However, a grace period of 4 weeks will be allowed after the scheduled delivery period, before levying the penalty. Article # 11,0 - Drawi : You shall submit the Data Schedules in PIS format for all sizes & Compliance Statements to O1-TMSS-01, Rev. 0 & 11-TMSS-10, Rev. 0 for submission to SEC-EOA, within one week from the date of our Purchase Order, Le. on or before 11.08.2010. You shall arrange to re-submil the above documenis of clarity as required, based on SEC-EOA commenis fo be received if any. Inspection & Test Plan shall also be submitted by you along with above decumenis. Article # 12.0 - Inspection & Test Reports Factory routine tests shall be cared out in accordance with IEC Standards / SEC- EOA approved Inspection & Test Plan. Tests shall be as deiailed under your submitted Technical Specifications and you shall provide Shop Test procedures. Readiness of materials for inspection / factory routine tests shall be advised to us ‘one week in advance to enable us to organize inspection Cables are subject to inspections and witnessing of factory routine tests by SEC- EOA / NCC / Thitd Parly Inspection Agency. Article # 13.0 - Shipping Marks : All the drums shall be marked with Shipping Marks as per Annexure = Il. Aiticle # 14.0 - Replacement : In case of short shipment and transit damages, if any, you shall make good the shorlages on priority without any exira cost fo us. The details of short shipment / transit damage if any will be intimated by us within a maximum of 15 {fifteen} days from the date of receipt of the materials at site. Article # 15.0 - Manufacturing Clearance: You shall proceed with manufacturing of the cables immediately on receipt of this, Purchase Order in full compliance with applicable specification/standards stipulated under Article 4.0, Separate Manufacturing Clearance is not required However, if you prefer to have approval for Data Schedule & Compliance Statement before proceeding, the same shall be submitied within one week from the date of our Purchase Order, i.e. by 11.08.2010.
