forward

Volume 41, pages 1-16

Summary:

School systems and parents have been working very diligently to make sure that students
with disabilities have an equal chance of education. No matter their level of disability, these
students have every right to a normal classroom as every other child. Funding for special
education classrooms and supplies has come mostly from the Federal Government, with a
grant yearly to IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act). Each disability and student
is different, school systems have hired special education teachers to be with these kids and
to come up with a specific plan of education for each child. This structured plan, involves
time in the classroom with students who don't have disabilities, and also one on one
teaching in a separate classroom. Special Education students also have their own
curriculum, designed to help their specific disabilities; these students also have access to
general education curriculum. Many improvements have come from the funding and those
who have the desire to help those with disabilities.

Summary:

In the midst of millions of technological improvements around the world, companies take it
upon themselves to stay up to date with modern technology. Technology is a huge part of
companies, most of them rely on it to store information and to day to day activities.
Companies have a much higher competitive advantage if they stay up-to-date with
technological upgrades. A company has a better chance of returning customers if the check
out line is quick and technology efficient, rather than those who are behind the trend. Firms
must be able to accept these innovation changes and update their own. Companies now
must figure out how to blend their old management ways with the new and improved ways
being introduced yearly.
