Laura To Do List For UBC

1. Compass Card (sean already did this for you)


a. Go to https://www.compasscard.ca/OrderCard
b. Order a card sent to 301 5621 Dunbar Street Vancouver BC V6N1W5

Password : Laura1997
Security answer : lebanon

2. Link your UPASS with your Compass Card


a. Go to http://upassbc.translink.ca/ after you receive your compass card in the mail
b. login to ssc
c. enter your Compass Card Number / CVN
3. Get your UBC card
a. https://services.ubccard.ubc.ca
b. Take a swaggin photo
c. Pick up your card any time after ~ 2 buisness days from the back of the UBC
bookstore and bring photo ID with you

4. Login to our Shaw account and add your devices for ShawGo wif
a. Go to https://my.shaw.ca
b. Username : seancardwell@hotmail.ca
Password : katie&laura&sean

c. Hit My Profle

d. Add yourself as a SHAW ID (you’ll then be able to use your email along as a login
password)
e. Hit “Internet” on the left side bar
f. Add your laptop and IPhone for ShawGO WIFI

5. Register for CPR-C


a. Visit https://vancouverfrstaid.ca/course-registration/?
regevent_action=register&event_id=14215&name_of_event=Red%20Cross
%20Emergency%20First%20Aid%20and%20CPR%20Course%20in%20Vancouver%20-
%20Kingsway
b. Register for CPR-C instead of CPR-A

6. Register for the Collage of Pharmacists of British Columbia


a. http://www.bcpharmacists.org/pharmacy-student-ubc
b. Start step 1

c. After you make your account login with your Username (some long number) and the
password you make https://eservices.bcpharmacists.org/web/CPBC/Pre-
Registration/CPBC/Registration/Content_Pages/PreReg_Login.aspx?ReturnUrl=
%2fweb%2fCPBC%2fRegistration%2fContent_Pages%2frdrt
%2fUpdateUserId.aspx&hkey=cca3ff4d-5572-4730-8a6f-20832825d45b

e. You have to get passport photos so that you can affix one of them to the document
f. You have to visit a Notary Public (I went to one close to our apartment however
there are also some in Calgary). All they do is witness the document, photocopy your
primary ID (I used my birth certifcate) and secondary ID (I used my passport), and
signed everything. It cost me ~$50 to do that though.

g. Mail the form to College of Pharmacists of British Columbia | 200 - 1765 West 8th
Ave Vancouver, BC, V6J 5C6 along with the ID copies as indicated in

h. Finish step 3 / 4 (it’ll be easy)
