NARRATIVE REPORT ABOUT COMMUNITY CLEAN UP DRIVE 2018

A community free from destruction and harm is a good dwelling place and practically

that is the main objective of the Clean Up Drive to make the learning environment as well as

the surroundings clean in order for the schoo0l children to achieve a better and a conducive

place for learning.

In the morning of January 20, 2018 parents and teachers were gathered at the school

ground. A short orientation took place informing them of what will transpire on that day.

Women were dominant on that day and all of them are so much willing to do their share in

order to make the activity worthwhile and meaningful.

The participants started cleaning the school premises. Some of them pull the weeds,

others sweep the ground and the rest gathered the thrash that was piled from the clean up

activity. It can be tiring, but they are really enthusiastic and eager to give their share on the

task. Each one happily worked, no traces of boredom can be seen from them.

After the assigned areas became free from weeds and trash, participants trooped inside

the school again bringing back all the materials and they prepare themselves in going home.

The activity ends well and it was another success which shows the cooperation and willingness

of the stakeholders together with educators.

It was proven that the school, the stakeholders and the barangay can really be a good

partner in fostering good relationship in order to attain the objective of bringing out

development and progress in these two different entities. Another important fact is that if

there is good relationship between the school, the community and the barangay nothing would

be impossible and a good partnership may not be a dream but rather it can be a reality that can

promote progress and development which in turn develops and produce good citizenry who

knows how to value other people.

NARRATIVE REPORT ABOUT COMMUNITY CLEAN UP DRIVE 2018

Communities are not built of friends, or of groups with similar styles and tastes, or even of
people who like and understand each other. They are built of people who feel they are part of
something that is bigger than themselves: a shared goal or enterprise, like righting a wrong, or building a
road, or raising children, or living honorably, or worshipping a god. To build community requires only the
ability to see value in others, to look at them and see a potential partner in one’s enterprise.

It was February 17, 2018 where parents and teachers gathered at the school ground. A
short orientation was given so they van have an idea of what will happen. Women were
prevailing on that day and all of them are so much eager to do their share in order to make the
activity sensible and significant.

The partakers started cleaning the school premises. Some of them pull the weeds,
others sweep the ground and the rest gathered the thrash that was stacked from the clean up
activity. It can be tiring, but they are really fervent and eager to give their share on the task.
Each one happily worked, no hints of boredom can be seen from them.

After the assigned areas became free from weeds and trash, participants moved inside
the school again carrying back all the materials and they prepare themselves in going home.
The activity ends well and it was another achievement which shows the cooperation and
enthusiasm of the stakeholders together with educators.
