General Manager
Define the strategy and focus areas for the Information Technology division, and the
positioning of Al Khalili’s offerings in the market place and ensure that revenue
targets are met for the Information Technology products Supply & Services
( Enterprise solution, Data Center computing Hardware, Network Active & Passive,
Security & Surveillance solutions, AV , PA SYSTEMS, Telecom & Communication ,Power
Backup & conditioning) The Business Head should also build credibility, gain market
share, and enhance customer satisfaction in the market place for the division while
being responsible for the overall P&L of the division.
Job Profile
Strategic
‣ Develop the business plan and budget for the division to provide strategic
direction.
‣ Develop a comprehensive business plan and market strategy including
product strategy, market positioning, sales & channel strategy, and business
alliances.
‣ Ensure business continuity through seeking new business opportunities in the
similar field.
‣ Develop and ensure implementation of standard operating procedures for the
division.
Operational
‣ Manage the various IT related product & services offerings according to the
strategic direction of Al Khalili Group business plan.
‣ Build the revenue stream to achieve the set targets and establish strong client
relationships with key clients.
‣ Measure the success of the Division and create management reports that
communicate the financial and operational progress of the business line.
‣ Establish and maintain effective business relationships with key vendors/
principals to leverage on market and pricing opportunities.
‣ Lead all aspects of sales cycles, including opportunity identification, analysis,
and due diligence; to drive the presentation of proposals for RFP’s, and
commercials.
‣ Build relationships and work closely with senior management (CxO level) within
the existing and prospective client accounts to understand complex business
requirements and consult, advice, and position products.
‣ Formulate and implement account management plans and proactive service
plans to ensure customer satisfaction, retention of business, and identification
of new opportunities.
‣ Monitor the development and management of client service level
agreements across all product offerings.
‣ Spearhead the resolution of service issues; leveraging internal team as
appropriate
‣ Develop pricing policies, including; volume discounts, and terms and
conditions, for high profile customers and channel partners.
‣ Manage overall sales process’, set appropriate metrics for sales funnel
management.
‣ Work closely with the Central Procurement Department in managing complex
contract negotiations, and provide and seek advice as appropriate.

AL KHALILI BUILDEX INTERNATIONAL
Responsibilities:
‣ Obtaining Global brands exclusive distribution.
‣ Develop a comprehensive business plan, product development, and
marketing strategy and focus on Projects & Retails segment business for light &
medium duty, construction machinery & equipment, cleaning machinery,
material handling equipment, landscaping & gardening equipment, air
moment products, safety & PPE products, tools & general hardware. Focus DIY
retail business through Al Khalili Showrooms. Positioning of Al Khalili offerings in
the market place and ensure that revenue targets are met for the products
portfolio. The Business Head should also build credibility, gain market share and
enhance customer satisfaction.
‣ Profit Centre responsibilities of OMAN, UAE & QATAR business activities.
Responsibilities
‣ Obtaining Global brands to strengthen Product Range.
‣ To work closely with lighting designers, MEP Consultants, Key Specifiers, Interior
designers & Principals.
‣ Focus on lighting specialization & Solutions.
‣ Identify the nature of project at the designing stage.
‣ Develop comprehensive business plan and marketing strategy.
‣ Ensure business opportunity through seeking new business opportunities in the
lighting business.
‣ Train sales team regularly & keep them updated on technology development.
Job Profile
