STITCHING (OPTIONAL)
Images Stitching - Integrated procedures for leg & spine images stitching.

The stitching function, (usually used for spine and legs scan) is needed for the automatic
reconstruction of an X-ray image starting from a series of images acquired at fixed
frequency during the scanning of the patient.

The image is reconstructed, keeping all original pixels, and can be viewed on the
monitor, processed, printed or sent to the network.

As for standard acquisition, stitching is done giving the x-ray command from the
generator control panel – the system automatically generates the required exposures
(2,3,4) each time irradiating a different part of the patient.

After the exposure, the system automatically processes the acquired images and then
recomposes them creating a single image shown on the monitor after approx 30 seconds.

Advanced or L/C at the order. In case of L/C and administrative fee of +€ 300,00 must be added

Warranty
As per General Warranty Conditions (ANNEX 1).

Training
Training for technicians who will install CAT Medical Systems devices is strongly recommended.
Warranty conditions may not be applicable to devices not installed by trained technicians. Training session
is free of charge if performed at CAT Medical Systems premises except for travel, meals and
accommodation, which are at customer charge.
CAT Medical Systems will release a Training Certificate.

Installation and on site assistance

On site assistance is not included. Upon requested it will be quoted separately.

Delivery Time
For any legal purpose, CAT Medical Systems recognizes its official commitment on delivery time expressed in
its Order Acknowledgement, which is determined in reason of volume ordered and type of device.

Other conditions
All other conditions are stated in our ANNEX 2) General Supplying Conditions.

ANNEX 1)

GENERAL WARRANTY CONDITIONS

We, CAT Medical Systems S.p.A., Via E. Amaldi, 14, 00015 Monterotondo (Roma), declare the following
terms of warranty for our products, designed and manufactured for Medical application:

The products are guaranteed 12 (twelve) months from delivery date:

The warranty covers:

a. All manufacturing mistakes, problems, errors, defective parts;
b. All costs for spare parts, their shipment through express courier, provision of assistance and
instructions for replace of the defective components;

c. All components and parts of the product up to the complete product substitution;

The warranty does not cover:

d. Any cost for spare part substitution on site;
e. Any damage occurred during transport;
f. Any damage occurred during installation, if it is performed by personnel not trained or directly
authorized by CAT Medical Systems. Warranty is not applicable as well for all damages caused by
any operation not performed according to instructions given by CAT Medical Systems on manuals,
training documents or in any written communication provided for technical assistance;
g. Any damage caused by any attempt to modify the product or any of its components, nor damages
caused by improper use of the device;

To benefit of warranty right, the customer must take charge of sending back the defective component by
mean of express courier within 2 working days from receipt of the spare parts required. After evaluation at
our premises, if any modification is found or any damage not depending on the manufacturing process is
pointed, CAT Medical Systems will issue a report and will invoice the full cost of the spare part delivered
and its transport. Without receiving any notice of the defective part shipment within 30 days from
shipment of the required spare part, CAT Medical Systems will invoice the full cost of the spare part
delivered and its transport;

X-Ray inserts are subject to 12 months warranty Pro-Rata-Temporis, all conditions for X-Ray insert are the
same as for other parts or components;
