Kelsie is exemplary in all areas of professional knowledge. She works closely with the curriculum framework to ensure her lesson plans
meet all students goals and objectives. She pre-assesses each skill and groups her students according to their needs. During lessons
she links content with real-world applications when appropriate. She previously completed her student teaching in a 5th grade
classroom and has done a great job keeping the 1st grade students developmental needs in mind when preparing and executing her
lessons.

Kelsie's performance is exemplary in the area of instructional planning. In both math and reading she differentiates her instruction to
meet the needs of ALL students. Her lessons consistently align to VBCPS curriculum and in some cases she delves deeper in the
curriculum to extend the higher learners needs. During her teaching, she adapts the lessons in innovative ways to reach all learning
styles and differences.

has created exit tickets and maintains anecdotal notes during her teaching. She has been flexible with grouping students according to
their needs. During the lessons she has taught, she gives frequent verbal feedback in a constructive way. I appreciate the positive
reinforcement that she uses with the students. When giving constructive feedback, she specific and offers it in a developmentally
manner.

Before each lesson, she establishes clear expectations for student behavior. We are a PBIS school, and Kelsie frequently talks with the
students about the Woodstock Way of being respectful, responsible, and safe. She is fair and consistent and treats every student in a
respectful manner. Kelsie has put in extra effort to connect with the students and learn about them. She is an active listener with her
students. Her former 5th grade students come to visit her every morning, and every afternoon. I believe she is a natural and building
relationships with her students because she is respectful, fair, and consistent.

Kelsie is exemplary in the area fo professionalism. She arrives to school every day prepared and excited for the day. She has been a
great team member on our grade-level. She is also working in other areas of the school that are not required of her. She has gone
above and beyond! She recently signed up to volunteer at an upcoming after-school event called Wee-Wooddchucks. During
collaborations she is engaged and offers her innovative ideas to the team.
