The Asia-Pacific Youth Exchange (APYE) is a program that responds to the global need of
meaningfully including the youth in SDG initiatives. By simulating SDG initiative execution
through Social Enterprise Model, youth delegates are given a unique opportunity to learn and
hone the skills necessary to participate in SDG activities. We also engage to achieve this, the
APYE has three main components:

“Delegates will learn some insights about the

relevance, and implementation of the SDGs.
The knowledge, skills and tools shared will
prepare youth delegates to lead efforts that
tackle the SDGs in their own communities.”

“In partnership with communities and NGOs,

the immersion component exposes youth
delegates to current SDG initiatives. This
exposure is a unique chance to understand
the inner workings of SDG activities and the
challenges that often beset them.”

“A space for delegates to showcase their

initiative related to each SDGs
implementation after their immersion. It will be
open for stakeholders to join such as UN
Agencies, Government and Social Enterprises
in order to collaborate on bringing ideas
forward and make it sustainable.
 APYE Program are currently established
in 3 countries including South Korea,
Philippines and Thailand.
We have more than 400 APYE alumnus
from over 25 countries. We are connect
with 7 communities, 12 UN agencies along
with several International organizations
and Corporate partners. Through youth
and communities network, we are
connecting them together to create SDGs
into action for Local Level.

APYE Thailand Delegates
(January 2017 Program)
Resulting from the success of last APYE in
January, we launch 2nd APYE Thailand program in
July along with APYE in Philippines and South
Korea. APYE Thailand will be hold from 17-30
July 2017 to wider the awareness of SDGs among
youth and lead them into action. We would like to
build the stronger collaboration between
International youth, Thai youth and Local
Communities for the sustainable impact.
This time, we aim for 150 Delegates from Asia
Pacific and more than 500 Thai youth engaged. We
believe that APYE would be a great platform to not
only showing youth force on SDGs execution but
also adapting SDGs implementation into
context of Local Communities
