used a variety of more commonly known methods of assessment such as teacher observation and writing samples.

Martha has an excellent grasp on classroom management style. She sets high expectations but also gives high nurture. A winning
combination. I observed a pattern that Martha uses when interacting with students that I will use in the future to help other pre-service
teachers. She would look, listen, rephrase, and praise. She also developed a rewards system that related to the curriculum. Students
were learning that American Indians earned headdress feather for their achievements. In her classroom, children could earn feathers for
their achievements and positive behaviors. Well done.
