Lesson Plan (Lesson Demo)

I. Subject/Topic of Lesson and Grade Level:


Comprehensive Health and Physical Education- Sexual Harassment and Sexual
Assaults in Schools-College level

II. Curriculum Standard:


Grade- College - Comprehensive Health and Physical Education- The state requires
that all students participate in a comprehensive, sequential health and physical
education program that emphasizes the natural interdisciplinary connection among
wellness, health and physical education. The primary focus of the standards is on the
development of knowledge and skills that influence life-long healthy behaviors within
the context of self, family, school and the local and global communities.

III. Learning Objectives and Assessments:

 Kahoot questions

V. Pre-lesson Assignments, knowledge and/or skills:


The teacher will start by first asking students the difference between Sexual
Harassment and Sexual Assault. This will help the students get engaged and have a
class discussion. After the class discussion, the teacher will ask if students can
compare and share a story about Sexual Harassment and Sexual Assault.

VI. Lesson Beginning/ Hook:


The teacher will use the computer and projector to show the students a presentation
based on the topic to inform students with facts and information. Then asses them
with an online game from Kahoot.

VII. Instructional Plan:


1. Students will use their electronic device such as phone or computers.
2. They will go to safari or google chrome and type in Kahoot.it
3. They will then enter the “game pin” displayed on the teacher’s projector.
4. Once the “game pin” has been entered, they will follow the instructions to
enter the game.
5. The teacher will then start the game and students will answer the multiple-
choice questions individually on their electronic device.
6. The teacher will observe that the students are following along and answering
the questions on their electronic device.
7. Lastly, after the Kahoot game has been completed, the students will go over
the questions as a class.

VIII. Conclusion:
The teachers and students will go over the questions from kahoot as a class. The
teacher will then ask if the students want to share any information based on the lesson
today.
