SUMMATIVE ASSESSMENT: After they are done I will read their work to see if they understand the assignment before I collect it.
Prerequisite Relationships to New Learning (Danielson 1a.)
. The students will need to know how to use their sight words to create sentences to answer the questions.
Introduction
The class will have a discussion about Earth Day and what that means to us. I will then lead the discussion into the Lorax and how
we can all make a difference just like the boy in the Lorax.
I will write key words on the board to help the students in their writing.

Ask for volunteers to share their writing and celebrate all their great ideas. I will create a display of their work.
