To begin, this document is a proposal for

funding our Semi-Automatic Transmission
Tranquilizer Projector or for short SATTP as
shown on Figure 1. This type of tranquilizer
projector has the potential to save a lot of

jectors compared to the one we are trying to fund. The benefits section will outline how this
projector would be used if adopted into common use. Found in the description section will be
what the projector will look like, and the main internal parts. The method section will give sup-
plemental background information into why we will be using these types of internal parts. A
schedule will be included in this document for a specific timeline on completion deadlines, and
a finished project. The qualification section will showcase how we have the right experience
and knowledge to build this product. The costs and resources are included towards the end of

Short History
Conventional tranquilizer projectors can only have
one to two darts at a time. This is a problem in the
field, say if a wildlife veterinarian or, ranger is in
the field to anesthetize a goat as shown on Figure
2, and then out pops a lion as shown on Figure 3 or
any kind of wildlife, with conventional tranquilizer
projectors this could cost the wildlife veterinarian
or ranger their life if they are not equiped with the

Our Semi-Automatic Transmission Tranquilizer Pro-

jector will allow a veterinarian to quickly change the
dart and potency. This could be lifesaving, in the se-
norio above, with our Semi-Automatic Transmission
Tranquilizer Projector the veterinarian will be able to
flip a switch and in a blink of an eye changes the dart
type and medication or anesthesia to lighter or heavi-
er game potency.

Benefits
As with any tranquilizer projector, there are ben-
efits. For our proposal, the Semi-Automatic Trans-
mission Tranquilizer Projector, will give the user
more freedom over traditional projectors where
they can choose different types of dart sizes as Figure 4. Tranquilizer Dart, www.valleyvet.com
shown on Figure 4 for this type of projector. This type of projector will enable the users to have
at most 8 light dose tranquilizer systems, to heavy dosages all housed in one projector. The re-
worked automatic tool changer will revolutionize the engineering world where it changes the
dart dosage. Our miniature vehicle transmission, will lower the costs of the development of
transmissions world wide for this kind of application.

Description of the SATTP

The Semi-Automatic Transmission Tranquilizer Projector
or SATTP for Short is a type of modern projector with
multiple features. This project will provide efficiency,
time saving, and easiness to the people who are in the
field trying to protect themselves from wildlife with-
out hurting them, and will help save lives in dangerous
situations where you could encounter multiple wildlife
when having the SATTP that can shoot multiple darts
to different targets without having to reload after each
dart. This is a type of projector that shoots a tranquil-

izer darts to its target. This design would make the
projector have a total capacity of 8 darts, but the darts
can be different sizes and potency. We have designs for the smallest ATC device as (shown on
Figure 5) in the world that will be fitted into the projector.

The training associated with the SATTP will be very minimal, due do to our technical expertise
of the end user. A short video will be filmed and available on our website, along with printed
instructions. If further information and training is needed, it can be obtained through the L.E.T.
Group by email, video chat or by phone.

Method
In coming up with the Semi-Automatic Transmission Tranquilizer Projector, we have been
influenced particularly by the cars automatic transmission, the Automatic Tool Changer or ATC
of the Computer Numerical Control ma-
chines or CNC, and I guess you could say by
the huge disadvantages by the Conventional

Tranquilizer Projectors as shown on Figure 6.

The Automatic Transmission inspired us because of it’s relient, efficient and the speed by which
it changes gears in a car. This transmission will help speed up the process of changing the darts
to the barrel to fire to its target. In addition to this this transmission we will have multiple
speeds to combat the type of environment.

The ATC influenced us for this project because of its abilities to quickly and accurately change
tools for CNC machines, Which was revolutionary in the field of CNC machining. Before the ATC
the Tech would have to stop the machine each time the G codes called for a tool change. This
would significantly slow the process of machining compared to today’s standards of CNC ma-
chining.

The disadvantages of Conventional Tranquilizer

Projectors motivate us because the user is only
able to load up one tranquilizer one dart at a time.
This is a major disadvantage, when a team is in
the field and is shorthanded. If this team were to
have more than one tranquilizer in their projec-
tors, more could be done in less time.

We made our SATTP by having combining fea-

tures like a transmission (As shown on figure 7)

to overcome the disadvantages of conventional com

Qualifications
Our best team member of our team is engineer Dr. Jacob Bentley who is the highest awared-
ed, and most celebrated person in this industry. He has years of experience inventing tools to
help blue collar workers. Aiding Dr. Bentley is his colleague Dr. Cesar Perez, who has completed
similar engineering technological milestones as Dr. Bentley. Dr. Perez has a history of inventing
low cost, but trustworthy tools for 3rd world countries. From the end user viewpoint, we have
Dr. Travis Howland, with a PHD in Biology in Wildlife Management, who has had a successful
career in various wildlife management fields in several countries. He has dealt with many vet-
erinarians in different situations when out in the field. With the help of this prestigious team,
this projector will become the most sought after tool for the wildlife management sector and
beyond.

Final Thoughts
This revolutionary projector will change the indus-
try as we know it. The SATTP will change the lives
of many people in the field by making it easier to
anesthetize and medicate multiple animals out in the
field like helping tranquilize an elephant as shown on
Figure 8. The initial costs will be more than conven-
tional projectors, but the benefits to changing over to
the SATTP will outweigh this. If more information is
