Duties of Class Officers:
Class President:
Responsible for the smooth operation of each class session.
Responsible for the proper conduct of all students.
Official representative of the class to all external offices and activities.
Has the authority to delegate assignments to other officers.

Class Vice-President:
Assumes the duties of the president in his absence.
Shares the regular workload of the auditors.

Class Secretary:
Responsible for the taking and recording of attendance during class
Responsible for the preparation of minutes of all class sessions, activities and
assignments.
Responsible for the preparation of a class seating plan with pictures.
Responsible for the preparation of a class directory.

Class Treasurer:
Responsible for the collection, safeguarding and disbursement of class funds.
Assumes the duties of the secretary in her absence.
Shares the regular workload of the auditors.

Class Auditor:
Responsible for the checking of the veracity and accuracy of all trades in the stock
simulation activity.
Shares the auditing workload with the Vice-President and the Treasurer.

STOCK MARKET INVESTMENT SIMULATION ACTIVITY (INDIVIDUAL)


Mechanics:

Each student will begin with an assumed starting capital of P1M to be used for
investment in any stock issue listed at the PSE
Not later than the last working day before the 13th session, all investments will be
liquidated and the students must submit a final report concerning his/her investment
performance.

Maintain ledger record of all stock trading transactions.

Each student must prepare a weekly status report on powerpoint presentation format
concerning his/her investment portfolio describing the following:
1. Investments made (Shares bought or sold / volume / value)
2. Amount earned to date
3. ROI to date

Three to four students will be chosen at random every session to make the presentation
of his/her weekly report. All students will be required to submit printed versions of their
presentations.

Rule - limit of shares traded to actual for the day

Grades for this simulation will be based on the following:


lowest third = 0 - 74(UNSATISFACTORY)
middle third = 75 - 85(PASS)
top third = 86 - 100(A)

Grades for this project will be equal to 30% of the final grade for the course.
