Defining Acting Efforts in Vase

On this form you must inform efforts, loads and pressures that are acting on the vessel as well as the temperatures that will be
submitted to the vessel.

In Internal charges tell what will be the Design pressure O Vacuum, if any, and Work pressure.

The design pressure should be specified as the higher internal pressure that the vessel will be subjected. It must be greater
than or at least equal to the working pressure. It is advised that the design pressure is between 10% and 25% higher than the
pressure of work, aimed at the action of the valve or safety devices.

The vacuum should be at most 760 mm / Hg, total vacuum, and, where specified, is checked and found to be independent
dimensioning of the external pressure vessel. The vacuum can be results of processes such as suction evacuation of the
vessel and may be critical for vessels dimensioned for low internal pressure.

also set the Design temperatures it's from Job coincident with the application of corresponding pressures. The design
temperature should be equal to or greater than the operating temperature and will be considered in the selection of materials
and their allowable stress in ASME tables.

In External loads report which will be external pressures Project it's from Job, Apart from temperature Project it's from Job acting
on the vessel.

Later on the user must define which this external pressure will be acting parts and which parameters to calculate it.

The external pressure can result from the existence of an entirely or partially surrounding the vessel jacket or other agent as a
buried or submerged vessel. It is up to the user / designer to define what causes the external pressure and correctly define the
parameters used.

Defining the geometry for External Pressure

On this form you must state which parts of the vessel will be subject to external pressure
and for sections of the side, which the length to be considered in the calculations.

So that the tops are sized to external pressure select them by clicking the corresponding checkboxes in tops, in the lower
portion of the form.
Even if a buffer is subjected to external pressure only on part of its surface, as if a partial jacket for example, their
dimensioning independent external pressure to the area.

To enable one or more Sections of Backing to external pressure, click on each section, and
Selected section enable the option Subject to External Pressure. Then set the length
L which should be considered for calculating the external pressure. Optionally the user can
Adopt the maximum L vessel.
This length is the maximum distance between two support lines in the vessel or the analyzed section. To define support line
needs and what should be considered as a support line appears check UG-28.1 ASME standard.
