PURPOSE – Why am I teaching this lesson? What do I want the students to know/to be able to do by the end of the
lesson that they could not do before?
OBJECTIVES
Identify and use words contaning the long (o) sound (hole, throw, crow, ground, slowly)
Develop their speaking and social skill through the group activity (saying the words in the
flash card)
Improve the student's skills in writing , listening and reading a new words (hole, throw,
crow, ground, slowly) by the listening activity.
Use the new vocabulary words .( hole, throw, crow, ground, slowly)
Participate in the activities.(speaking by flash card and listening by fill in the blank)

or read or listen to? Is it a new language, or am I revising something I or my MST has already presented and practiced

CONTEXT – How will I make the language realistic for the students?
By giving them a realistic example like : Audio(story) , the child will link between the lesson and realife example from the
class like (door for long o), providing flash cards about the word that have long o sound like :road, home, rope ,crow,
boat.
RESOURCES –– What resources do I need to create the context and provide practice so the students can do what they
need to do to develop? - Include realistic , books, handouts, multimedia, songs, games, etc.
Flashcards, pictures, (speaking activity) , Listening to audio(story) , worksheets (listening activity) , games, WB markers,
whiteboard , worksheet (speaking activity ).
ACTIVITIES – What activities can I design that use the resources and are appropriate in the context? Are my activities
authentic and purposeful?
