Instrumentation 300 Volt 105°C UL 13 PLTC PVC Insulation
Individually & Overall Shielded Pairs
Application: For use in instrumentation and process control applications
where protection from electrostatic interference is required. UL listed as
Type PLTC and ITC and approved for installation indoors or outdoors,
aerially, in conduits, ducts and cable trays in circuits not exceeding 300
volts. May be used in NEC Class 1, Division 2 hazardous locations.
Conductors: Soft bare annealed copper per ASTM B-3, Class B stranding
per ASTM B-8. Tinned copper conductors are available upon request, it
may have minimum run length.
Insulation: Flame-retardent PVC according UL 13 standard.
Color Code: K-1 (Black & White Pairs).
Individual Shield: Aluminum-polyester tape providing 100% coverage
with a flexible 7-strand tinned copper drain wire.
Overall Shield: Aluminum-polyester tape providing 100% coverage with a
flexible 7-strand tinned copper drain wire.
Communication Cable (If required): Stranded bare copper conductor
22AWG PVC-FR (105°C) insulated. Usually Orange color to contrast K-1
color code.
Jacket: Sunlight-resistant PVC. A ripcord is applied longitudinally under
the jacket to facilitate stripping.
Flame Tests: • IEEE 383 70,000 BTU /hr flame test.
• CEC/CSA - (FT-4).

PVC Pares con Pantalla Individual y General
Aplicación: Para uso en instrumentación y procesos de control en
aplicaciones donde se requiere protección a interferencias electro-
estáticas. Norma UL tipo PLTC y ITC, aprobado para instalaciones Planta
Interna o Planta Externa, en interperie, en conduits, en ductos y bandejas
portacables donde el circuito no exceda los 300 voltios. Pueden ser
usados en Áreas Clasificadas NEC Clase 1 División 2.
Conductores: Cobre suave recocido por estándar ASTM B-3, trenzado
Clase B por estándar ASTM B-8. Conductores de cobre estañado están
disponibles bajo pedido, cantidades mínimas aplican.
Aislamiento: PVC Retardante a la llama por estándar UL 13.
Código de Color: K-1 (Negro & Blanco Pareados).
Pantalla Individual: Cinta de aluminio poliéster provee 100% de cobertura
con un conductor de drenaje de cobre estañado 7-hilos.
Pantalla General: Cinta de aluminio poliéster provee 100% de cobertura
con un conductor de drenaje de cobre estañado 7-hilos.
Cable de Comunicación (Si Requiere): Conductor de Cobre trenzado
22AWG PVC-FR (105°C) aislado. Usualmente color Naranja para contrastar
con el código de color K-1.
Chaqueta/Cubierta Exterior: PVC resistente a la luz solar. Cordón de
ruptura aplicado longitudinalmente bajo la chaqueta para facilitar el corte.
Pruebas de Llama: • IEEE 383 70,000 BTU /hr prueba de llama.
• CEC/CSA - (FT-4).

de cobre estañado, cubierta de PVC negro, superficie impresa.
