CONTENT STANDARD : 4.1 Enjoy and appreciate rhymes, poems and songs through performance.

LEARNING STANDARD : 4.1.2 Able to sing action songs, recite jazz chants and poems with correct
pronunciation, rhythm and intonation.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES : By the end of the lesson, the pupils will be able to:
talk about animals characteristics based on textbook correctly.

i. PRE-LESSON : PRE-LESSON TASK 8: PREDICT THE CONTENT
ii. LESSON DEVELOPMENT : 1. Teacher plays animals’ sound using speaker and asks pupils to guess.
2. Teacher asks pupils to guess the topic for today.
3. Teacher shows pupils a few face masks – rabbit, cat and frog.
4. Teacher distributes the materials needed to make the face mask.
5. Each pupil receives outlines of the mask.
6. Pupils colour it and teacher paste it on the whiteboard.
7. Writing screening.
