REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION FOR
MINING LEASE(S)
 Duly Completed Application Forms.
 Copies of Certificate of incorporation including Form CAC2 and CAC7
containing Particulars of Board of Directors, Memorandum and Articles
of the Association for Corporate body. Certificate of Registration for
Cooperative Society and/or copy of National I. D card/Drivers Licence for
an individual.
 Attestation of Non – Conviction of Criminal offences.
 Processing Fee for N500,000. 00 for ML through ‘remita.net’ payable to
Nigeria Mining Cadastre Office (TSA).
 Feasibility Study for Leases only— (must be stamp and signed by
COMEG Member).
 Evidence of Financial Capability with sufficient working capital by way
of:
i. Verifiable bank Statement of account.
ii. Verifiable bank reference letter
 Evidence of Technical Competence/competent person(s) in its
employment who possess adequate qualification and experience in
Exploration and Exploration of minerals and registered with Council 0f
Mining Engineers and Geoscientist (COMEG)with evidence of
i. Curriculum Vitae and Certificates of a Mining Engineer or Geoscientist,
COMEG
ii. Letter of employment and that of acceptance by the employee.
iii. Three months’ pay slip or sworn affidavit.
 Consent Letter signed by landowners/occupiers, attached with sworn
affidavit from a High Court.
 Site Plan for Leases only.
 Evidence of a valid/extant Exploration licence.
 Mine Plan/Design
 Prospecting plan showing reserve estimate
 Environmental Impact Assessment, Environment Protection and
Rehabilitation Plan for application of Mining lease originating from
Exploration licences that have been renewed.
 Surface Rent Agreement with land owner/occupier-(section 102)
 Community Development Agreement (CDA)-(section 116)

ALL DOCUMENTS MUST BE IN TRIPLICATE.
